Hardly do food reviews but this is worth one. One of the better wanton mees i had while shuttling in between appointments. The highlight is that the wantons here have crab meat and you can taste the chestnuts in them as well, comes both fried and the soft version in a plate. The fried wantons are definitely cooked when ordered and came out piping hot. While subtle, one can taste the contrast between fried and soft. The noodles were cooked aldente and seasoned perfectly with dark soya sauce and spicy chilli. No decent wanton mee would be without fried pork lard and it was evidently there of course. The char siew were normal but it was definitely freshly made and soft to the bite, unlike many that have cardboard like consistency. Jin Ho Chiak! Keep it up!

I won't call myself a connoisseur but I have tasted almost all the famous and infamous stalls in SG. Been eating my fave noodle since forever. This stall is a good black sauce wonton noodle similar to those in Malaysia. Good sauce, chilly is great and the crab meat wonton is very delectable. Carefully done with chestnut in it. Definitely worth your $4. Check them out.

Initially just thought of trying small size bowl, but after trying the deepfried wantons, we ordered another with additional wantons!!! As a Penangite, I would really recommend this stall just along MacPherson Road! Yummy..

Tasty noodle and wanton. Humble and friendly guy who ask me not to have too high expectation when i reviewed that i came from old airport rd. To the owner, don't worry not losing to anyone of them here and impt ur service is way better than those arrogant owners here. Thumbs up and keep it there.

What a comforting dish. Was craving for wonton noodles after a swim so any normal ones would have been acceptable. First stall I got to and it more than satisfied.
Black sauce, check. Sweet and comforting soup, check. Nice al dente springy noodles, check. Nicely done wonton with water chestnuts, yes! Just opened 2 months ago? I was reluctant to write a review to draw attention but here it is. Hope you guys stay for long!

Very disappointed. Told them at least 3 times not to put chilli cos my children can't take spicy. Just before collecting payment, I was asked again if "want chilli or not". I said no. Came home, BOTH packets had chilli, too spicy for my children. Can't eat. Best part, it wasn't crowded. I was the only one ordering n no one after me either. 3 persons at the stall, still can't get it right��

Haven't had good wonton mee in a long time. Discovered this place called Crab Meat Wonton Mee on facebook. Went to da bao lunch. IT WAS GOOD!!!! LOOK AT THE WONTON!!!! ITS HUGE! FULL OF INGREDIENTS!!!! AND THE SOUP IS SO TASTY!!!! BUT BUT BUT I ORDERED WITH CHAR SIEW AND ROAST PORK!!! BOSS FORGOT TO PUT ROAST PORK!!!!! But still its good! Must try! Sorry ah, here cannot paste photo.
