Nam Kee Pau - Singapore - Photo album

A hearty bowl of Mee Hoon Kueh. Hand-torn and served with anchovies, meat balls, braised mushroom and an egg. Very flavorful ingredients and I topped up with pork lard. They have porridge and other noodle items. $4.30 for each bowl. A consistent queue but it moves quickly. 4.5*
Tried the infamous Nam Kee Maggie mee, Lor Mai Gai and the white coffee. All 3 of them are wonderful. Esp the white coffee. Had 2 hot and 1 cold a total of 3 cups. So damn addictive. And not so sweet too.
This was the only eatery along the stretch that was fill with customers which is always a good sign. Service here would not be their strengths most unfortunately. Cashier was loud and verging on being rude. $4 for a small bowl bowl of mee hoon kueh may feel expensive but once you fish out what goe
Mee hoon kueh and koka noodles are my comfort food! I can eat this everyday!! They have so many outlets now but somehow this outlet has the tastiest noodles! Their big pau is a must try too!! There is a taste of "malaysia" in all of their food offerings!!
Ahhhh… where do I start? This is where I go when I have no idea what to eat. From ke kou mian (gourmet instant noodle) to porridge with lard, to soya bean milk and Amy Yip(!!!) Bao, they sure serve up comfort foods for all seasons!!!
Must try the mee hoon kuay, their soup base with the kuehs and runny eggs are yummy. Located at tuff city.
Big pau is good. Siew Mai is average. Meat is not firm enough. Do not order barley. It is flavoured !
Solid char stew pau. Was surprised to find a simple pau shop in the otherwise atas grandstand locale. They serve ban mien, mee hoon kueh and crispy noodles. Highly recommended
