Crowded mall on top of Tiong Bahru MRT with anchor tenants NTUC Finest and UNIQLO, Golden Village cinema.
None exciting retail tenants otherwise.
Mostly mediocre food on food street level 2 and a crowded Kopitiam on level 3. Fast food joints are McDonald’s, Burger King on level 1, Mos Burger, KFC in B1.
Coffee places like Starbucks and 24 hr Coffee Bean Tea Leaf - are always packed and not many available seats. Cheaper local kopi joints like ToastBox and Yakun plus takeaway joints like Wokhey, ToriQ, Crave in B1 adds to the pack.
Overall just crowded especially on weekends.

Came 2 years ago and now. Didn't see much different since. 4 storey-high mall. Level 4 mostly occupied by cinema. Link directly to Tiong Bahru MRT and central plaza. Mostly browsing at level 2 - daiso, indoor playground for kids, kids stuff, and restaurants at one end.

Walking distance from Residence areas. Not too many shops choices. Wish there are Don don donki or Korea mart there. Value shop very cheap, much cheaper than Daiso.

Soo Hin Yeoh
A discount suburban mall with Daiso, brand outlets and decent restaurants. The basement has FairPrice Finest while there is a Golden Village and Kopitiam on the top floor.
It’s a fast food and banking hub with McDonald’s, KFC, Burger King, Four Fingers, Pizza Hut, Toast Box, OCBC, UOB and POS Bank within premises, and all conveniently located on top of Tiong Bahru MRT.

Great mix of tenants (from supermarket to banks to cafes to restaurants to services like massage, to retail selling clothes, shoes, toys). As opposed to some malls where majority are all F&B restaurants. Road shows on the ground floor have recently started after relaxation of the covid rules

A smaller shopping complex which has been renovated and is a pleasant shopping and eating out mall. It is self contained and you can get pretty much what you need from clothing, food, cinema, supermarket, restaurants etc.

The Restaurant is one thing, the Tingkat Service is another. My first try on the new Tingkat Service, and I took the 20 days package with 3 dishes 1 Soup for 2 Pax. Quality control is bad as far as food preparation is concerned.
My comments:
1. Quality of the food is horrendous, tasteless and even below the standards of Economical-rice food sold by the coffeeshops nearby my place.
2. In most of the dishes delivered, the chicken / pork meat gives off a bad smell and the taste is bland.
3. The soup is simply horrible. Despite different ingredients each time, it all tastes the same like plain water added with MSG.
4. The vegetable dish is the worst, with no sauce, always the usual spinach or kangkong soaked in tasteless liquid. I ended up throwing away the vege dish most of the time.
Today evening's delivery is the worst, and I had to throw away all the dishes which is less than 1/4 eaten because it's that bad. If its once in a while, its forgivable but on a daily basis? No thanks. In short, this is the worst tingkat service I have engaged so far, and I'm shocked that a restaurant that prides itself with good food actually delivers so badly on its tingkat food.
My mum and I used to look forward to dinner, but after Rajahinn's tingkat service, we have developed a fear for food and that's how bad it is. So far we have been cancelling certain days and telling them not to deliver the food at all nor do we expect them to postpone it to other days. As we have already paid for the service and there is no refund for early termination, we can only hope that the end of the delivery comes soon enough so we can get it over and done with and start enjoying better dinners.

RajahInn is the best tingkat among the rest that I had tried. I find the food not oily, not salty. The seasoning is just right for me. I like the soup best. And their fish dish is yummy too! Of course there are days that I do not like some dishes, but generally the food is good.

Had the 4-dishes tingkat for close to two weeks now. Quality of ingredients is not good. Fish is never fresh, probably why it always comes deep fried. Chicken, whether in soup or as its own dish, always have blood clots and tastes tough and blend. Quantity is also lacking, the plastic container is always at most half filled. Taste wise, it's not too salty but oily.
Will not recommend the tingkat, will probably not try the restaurant if the standard is the same.
