When in the area I love coming here for breakfast. The prata is lovely, chewy and has a good bite and to it without being too greasy. My favorite is either the egg prata or egg and cheese prata. The masala served with the prata is tangy without being too spicy. Ice coffee is fragrant and has a good punch. Other menu items tried were the thosai filled with potato curry (hearty and filling) and the tissue prata (if you want to go bonkers on your sugar intake).
Got the food as a Treat(Delivery). The rice serving per packet is alot for one person. My parents & i shared 1 packet. Each rice packet has abit of gravy in it thus making part of rice oily.Think they cook like dum biriyani.Timon mixture could be better thou. The mutton & chicken pieces are big. Tasty but abit oily. The gravey's good.Papadams crispy.
Nice neighbourhood place, when you are near by River Valley Singapore. Nice Pandan Ice Tea and many options for Asian cuisines.
2nd time eating with my Private Hire driver kaki after he intro.
The boss introduced new Nasi Goreng Butter Chicken and promised it will not disappoint.
Having eaten many kinds of fried rice from many diff places, I have to say this was done perfectly. The rice was not overly oily, it was slightly sticky which was perfect and it has a very smooth taste and leaves you wanting more.
Sauce was perfect and buttery and especially generous unlike your typical Zi char stall.
The egg was also thick and smooth and perfect.
My only mini complaint was I had wished the chicken were in bigger chunks, but the taste simply made up for it.
I don’t usually have any 2nd round in mind when I eat but this simply blows my expectations.
I really wanted a second round but stomach was too full for it 🥺
The boss will take care of you and ask for honest feedback about the food. Great restaurants are always seeking to improve to fit the tastebuds of customers.
Boss, I am coming for a third round again!
A friend of mine got stuck in the Zamas toilet for around 45 minutes. He was fearing for his life and we were also very worried. However, the amazing staff at Zamas went out of their way to help us recover and save our dear friend in the toilet. I will forever patronise this amazing store. Just in case you were wondering, I have added a photo of this toilet.
Came here for a casual, early dinner on our 4th anniversary as my wife and in-laws were raving about this hidden gem nestled in River Valley.
We ordered the chicken briyani, mee goreng mamak and satay. First the briyani - oh boy, it was reminiscent of the typical Muslim wedding ones, fragrant and unpretentious (huge chicken & rice portions!). Second, the mee goreng/kway teow goreng was messy but fried to perfection. Perfect amount of spice and high on that wok hey factor - they didn't skimp on the vegetables and egg either.
Saving the best for last is their satay, we ordered 10 initially (5 mutton, 5 chicken skewers) they were well marinated and melt in your mouth tender. They were so good, we ordered an additional 10 pieces. The peanut gravy was pretty ordinary as with the accompanying complimentary cucumber/onion slices.
The pandan teh deserves an honorable mention. I requested a less sweet version and they obliged, the teh was fragrant with caramel undertones due to the pandan leaves.
All in all, I was pretty impressed with their renditions of the usual mamak stall fare. Prices are slightly on the higher side but still reasonably affordable probably due to the location and rent. They're not too crowded during the day time till early evenings but do expect to queue up 8pm onwards, as this seems to be a supper haunt for the people living in the vicinity.

Good food here. Nice prata, nice nasi goreng too. Generous portions too. 👍👍
The Indian food here is good (but pricey), better than most prata shops. The curries were thick and not diluted. First time being served sambal balacan with roti prata. Pandan teh terik is a must try. Service was OK. Place was crampy though.
