Ordered 2 set of steam bread, suspected one of the steam bread is made the day before, not fresh and very hard... told the uncle about it he just take back and re-steamed it, the bread still very hard in texture, did not eat it eventually... afraid might get diarrhea... very disappointed

Rude and impatient staff. Ya kun was known as a traditional breakfast outlet. Now, they have replaced all semblance of "traditional" cutlery with plastic takeaway boxes for dine- in customers. Quality of food has tanked big time.
With the recent price hike, $5.7 can be be used to purchase much better experience. Waste of time and resources. Suffice to say, would not visit ya kun again

pretty long queue on a public holiday arnd 9am,, thankfully many seats available :-) food came real quick aft ordering too 👍🏻 toast was crispy, eggs were lovely and coffee/tea on point !
but the butter to kaya ratio... 😔😔😔 haiyo q disappointing :-(

Food is disgusting. The soft boiled egg was gritty with tiny bits of egg shell (see photo of it on tray) and the otah in the sandwich was not cooked well - there was a distinctly harder part that i spat out.

One of the worst outlet I have ever been. Staffs are rude and impatient especially the plump female staff. It seems like they are unhappy working there and like people owe them money. Ya Kun Management please do something about your staffs.
1) Service is unbelievably disappointing.
2) Coffee taste horrible.
3) I ordered Mee Siam but the noodle so dry like Sahara Desert.

Staff seem very unhappy working at place. Lifeless and rude.
French toast is by far the worst I ever eaten. Taste more like white bread with abit of egg on top.

Yakun with the dirtiest tables, messiest layout and worst service. Staff all just standing around pretending to be busy doing something but not clearing tables.
Coffee also tastes very bad.

Toast is made in advance and served cold. Soft boiled egg is cold too and its disgusting when eaten with soy sauce. Ya Kun standard is getting worse and worse every visit. Also, chicken laksa has been made unavailable for some time. Not surprised when more outlets are closing down.
