Curry Times - Singapore - Photo album

Old Chang Kee has been very well known with their curry puff but I seriously don't know how to appreciate their meal, they have very good menu but it really don't taste good.
Ordered 2 Wednesday super value sets comprising a rendang beef rice and a nasi lemak curry chicken and another chicken drumstick set. Difference between the normal and super value set is that the super value set comes at a lower value and with a free item plus a drink too, please refer to photos. A
It's quite affordable, and it tastes great! The seating area is quite small, but cozy. The food tastes amazing, and I think that all the meals are served with peanuts and cucumber, which really complements the main course. I highly suggest the Beef Rendang meal, which has the perfect texture and rig
Affordable nasi lemak sets. Might be slightly steeper than regular hawker Centers but worth it. Recommend getting the dry chicken curry one. Fast service for a quick lunch meal.
Pretty decent rendang chicken rice. Think it was abt $8 including drinks
Their self-service food ordering machine needs to be improved. Tried a few times before deciding to take a risk to order. No staff was around to assist either. Curry chicken is spicy and delicious though pricey.
the dry curry chicken rice is good. salty but still good and the price is matched. my singaporean friends say old chang kee is a popular staple in this country and its obvious why.
Nice presentation and okay food. We had the beehoon with otah, as well as the rice with dried chicken curry. The latter was tastier, as the beehoon was a little bland. The coffee and tea were both very weak though.
