We ordered a dry set and a soup set. Amount of pork belly was acceptable. Taste wise also normal. Nothing super spectacular and to shout out. Geylang one is probably better.
I would have given 4 stars for the acceptable taste, if it was not for one of their staff who just chose to take away our dis
The have this only can add soup 1 time and the pot is super small. Regardless of people dine in. Food taste good. Service okay.
1) always see a lot of people eating so I went to try out for the 1st time.
2) I ordered a set for 2pax, comes with 4sides dishes, a “little bit” of vege, 6pcs of You Tiao, 2 slices of Tau Pok, 3 slices of Tau Kwa, 2 bowl of rice, 2 Houji tea (choose from hot or cold). The soup comes with 2pcs of Po
Didn’t have much expectation but we are very satisfied to having our lunch here. We are from Malaysia and we love the food here. Don’t compare with Malaysia but compare to singapore Bak Ku Teh, the taste really good. Service also very good that will auto refill the soup and tea.
While eating halfway, discovered a fly/insect in the bean curd skin I was biting, it was hard as well and the tofu taste weird. Hope I don't get food poisoning from this. The only thing acceptable was the soup. Highly not recommended.
Price rather reasonable, but it's not totally the traditional Bak Kut Teh. It's Kuala Lumpur type. This dish is a set for 2. With complimentary of 2 drinks (hot or cold for selection) only Houji tea. Other than that will have to pay.
KL style BKT. Love the variety of ingredients simmer in the black herbal soup. Would have been better if they serve better quality rice!
Fabulous services. The service crews were observant to refill our soup and tea throughout our meal. They also asked if we need more chilli when they noticed we had finished. Very pleasantly surprised by the food too. The herbal soup was very tasty. The side dishes were enough. I would visit again.
