We held our son's first birthday at COO yesterday. The layout of the bistro suited a small party of 30-50 pax perfectly. My guests loved the food and the service was excellent. We would highly recommend this place for other similar events.

This review is for Coo Bistro, run by the same team who operates Coo Boutique Hostel. The Bistro is located beside the Hostel.
Its not too often you get to try a dish that is totally new (to me anyway), inventive, and delicious. But that's what I experience when I tried the Coo Mentaiko Capellini...marinated roe, nori and bacon cream with angel hair pasta...perfect combination.
The Pull Pork Burger is perfectly balance, spicy, savoury and sweet. The accomanying fries are crispy outside, fluffy in the middle, without being greasy.
Our appetizer, Tiger Prawn Casserole was a generour portion of prawns & chorizo in a tomato stew was a great way to start the meal.
We ended our meal with the Grilled Burnt Banana. I was tempted to order another portion (after all, its fruit) but common sense prevailed. I'll definitely have it again at our next visit.
Note for chocolate lovers: order the Valrhona Chocolate...its an sophisticated version of a chocolate milkshake, taken to the next level...rich and decadent.
Fantastic place! One of the best hostels I've ever been to. Clean, cozy, stylish with friendly and attentive staff. Definitely deserves a perfect score from me. Highly recommended!
Great place to catch up with friends and family over a meal. Very clean and cosy atmosphere with attentive staff. Excellent food at very reasonable prices. I particularly like the fusion styled Gado Gado, a refreshing flavour. Will be back for more!
One of the best capsule hotels in Singapore. Clean bedrooms, and facilities that are complete. The breakfast served is more varied than similar hotels. The security of this hotel is very reliable. Highly recommended for traveler looking for a nice place with reasonable price.
Stayed for 2 nights at a price of $75. Location is good, only one bus stop away from Outram Park MRT Station. Very clean and cozy hostel. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Bistro food is top notch (and hostel guests are entitled to 15% discount!). I ordered the Salmon Omelette and it was awesome! Could not have asked for more and definitely more than worth every penny.

I love the interesting spread on the their menu. I thought the "chwee Kueh" is very creative. I would definitely go back for more food and drinks again. And I had a short tour of the rooms as well. They look great. Very clean and cosy. Definitely, a place I would recommend for friends to stay at when visiting, if they are looking at hostels.

Love the ambience! Very stylish and well designed interior. The food is amazing! Western with a very interesting local twist. Much excitement for the a foodie's palate. Very suitable place for a cozy party for friends and families.

� ติเรื่องเดียวเลยคือ รร.อยู่ค่อนข้างไกลจาก mrt คือลง mrt แล้วต้องต่อรถเมล์1ป้าย ถามว่าเดินได้ไหม ได้นะ แต่อย่าเดินเลย ไกล แถมป้ายลงเมล์ที่จอดดันเป็นถนนแบบวันเวย์อีก คือต้องลงถนนที่อยู่ด้านหลังรร. แล้วข้ามมาฝั่งรร. แล้วเดินอ้อมตึกแถวเผื่อไปถนนที่อยู่หน้ารร. ถึงจะเข้ารร.ได้ ส่วนป้ายรถเมล์ขาไปmrt จะอยู่ถนนฝั่งรร. เยื้องกับรร.เลย แต่ทางข้ามต้องเดินไปข้ามที่ไฟแดงอีก ไกลอีกแต่เราก็ข้ามมันตรงหน้าป้ายเลย ไม่รู้ผิดกฏรึป่าว แต่ขึ้เกียดเดินไปข้ามที่ไฟแดง ย้อนไปย้อนมา

We enjoy our four days stay! It's a comfortable hostel and the staff all very friendly!
Can I just second Norman Au's review on the food. (norman, hope you don't mind!) Cant describe any better. I had the mentaiko capellini set and a Prosecco to go along. Perfect! Definitely coming back to check out the other items on the menu. All seems to be calling out to me. Besides the food, love the ambience too! Chillax to the max. A great place for friends to get together! COO is definitely a gem in the nostalgia part of Singapore. Check it out !

It's so comfy it feels like home. Clean and spacy and smells really good. The functions needed are also very well thought of. Definitely recommending this to my friends!
