Good value for lunch set meal and service. Soup is refillable and the aunties will constantly come to top it up! Spacious, clean and quiet corner that you definitely can enjoy a nice meal with your friends and family.
Not impressed. the soup was not flavourful enough and the ribs were not sweet. Probably will not return again. Fish was very bland but its song fish so its to be expected but the meat was too firm (overcooked). The rest were average.
Pricing is higher than songfa upstairs so probably explains why the lack of queue here,meat wise, it has a gamey smell to it but tenderness level was about right for regular as the premium loin has sold out. Overall is nice place to dine in. Staff are friendly. Food taste good and portion just right. Would prefer if the Bak Kut Teh soup is not that spicy and the meat be more tender. Braised pork trotters tasted good and meat is tender.

Refilling of soup was very prompt, service was good. Braised beancurd skin tasted good, unlike some places with weird beancurd skin taste. The soup was mostly peppery. Would have given 5 stars if the soup was richer in flavour, and not just peppery. Fans of peppery BKT would love it though.
BkT soup was OK, light peppery compared to other famous ones like SF or Legendary. But my braised dishes served at room temperature.
