The deep fried YTF with a bean based gravy ain’t half bad. The same goes for the noodles.
For 7.50, the portion was huge.
I would do without the noodles next time, if I am not famished.
Forget about the soup.
You are better off without it.
The noodles were slightly too spicy for me, but quite nice still despite this - I'm sure someone who has higher spicyness tolerance will enjoy the dish! Fried wantons are good as usual, and service was fast and efficient.
Unfortunately credit card payment was not accepted, only cash, nets, and paylah were accepted.
Tasty, affordable and filling food. I was captivated by their poster of salted egg chicken noodle so I had that and was not disappointed. The cashier was helpful.
Taste is reasonably good. Add one star for staff service at Star Vista. There are many delivery orders coming in during lunch time, and the kitchen seem busy. The counter lady is dealing with both delivery and walk in orders. Very pleased with how she took my order nicely despite the overwhelming orders. Will come back again
Queues very long during lunchtime, especially now with covid measures lifted. Menu recently updated, the toufu combination is reliably good and portions are not overly large. Staff always seems to be very busy but make an effort to be pleasant
It's OK. The fried wantons are very small and mostly flour. The noodle sauce (red or black) is probably the draw. The place is open air, beneath the escalator. If you go at night it is not so bad, weatherwise. Very easy to and service is fast and efficient. Enough places to sit most of the time. I like to get the ice jelly (don't know if they always have it) as dessert to cool down.
When I'm in Star Vista area, I would stop by for dinner. The noodles are quite ok but I guess they must be quite populat - most of the time they run out of either char siew, vege, pork ribs... but I guess if you come for lunch should be ok... friendly staffs
