Chance upon this stall inside Kovan 209 market and food centre that serves wanton noodle, they are located at the very last row of the hawker centre. This stall has been around for quite sometime according to the newspaper article on the signboard. Seems like a popular stall, noticed many people pur
Decided to give this stall a try after seeing many features from respectable food blogs. However, the noodles were sticky and mushy with overpowering alkaline taste. I suggest not to get the $5 option because the sauce and noodle ratio is not 1:1. Charsiew’s dry and nothing to shout about. Overall,
Nice, saucy. Value for money.
Ghee taste is present in the noodle though.
Had the dark soy sauce wanton noodles without char siew. All the components were pretty good. There were only 5 wantons, need more per serving for that 5th star.
I see quite a long queue amongst the old faithfuls. It’s a sourish kind of sauce that is not what I’m used to. Wan ton, char siew and noodles didn’t stand out for me.
I enjoyed the noodles. Long-time stall in Kovan Market and Food Centre.
Good noodles esp the wanton!! They have 3 versions to choose from.. Expect queues
I had the tomato based noodle for me to be shared with daughter. Taste was good, not overly sweet. Wanton was pleasant. Soup was not overly salty. Queue was a little longer than I’d have liked but overall experience was pleasant!
