The roasted chicken has the 40yrs ago childhood taste. Very nice and you can fall into 1970s after the first bite of the roasted chicken. The rice has the old childhood taste in 70s as well. If you want to know what's the taste of 70s, must go to try. I passed by yesterday accidentally and I recalled my childhood whereby I used to buy their chicken rice in the early 80s... I have found the teatse...

Was really looking forward to good asian noodles. Good portion but the meat was very tough. Not worth the $7 for this. :(

i grew up with this place, i remembered my dad used to always bring us here most of the weekend. every single time i love it. Today i brought my wife and kid, the chicken rice i ordered roasted and steamed both were very dry, even the rice was dry. i ordered the 3x seafood set for $25. i thought it will be a sumptous meal. It too came out bland and yucky. what is the matter with my used to be favorite restaurant? it was so disappointing! the floors were slippery and yucky? the food taste as bad? Have they changed the chef? cutleries were so old.... im sorry but i wont come to this place.
total bill $50... and i dont know what we ate today as the price wasnt justified with the taste and cleaniness.

My parents had a bad experience. They wanted to get a set meal consist of 4 dishes for $35 but was recommended to get separate 2 ala carte dish as it would be cheaper since its only the 2 of them. Staff was very persuasive and sounded sincere in offering a supposedly a cheaper alternative. They agreed on just getting 1 chap chye & 1 sweet sour fish. No price was mentioned at this point as my parents had trusted the staff. The bill ended up to be $60+ with the sweet & sour fish alone is $50. My dad immediately question but the staff that made the recommendation tried to hide. Only after complaining to the boss, the staff came out but deflected the fault to my dad instead for not checking on the price. This is very unreasonable and unscrupulous way of doing business. Will never come here again. Advise on whoever wants to come here, confirm on the price first before accepting any recommendations.

Chicken was not bad, but found insect in my bowl of soup and hair in the chilli.
Come for the rustic feel because it looks like it’s from the 70s to 80s.
