Amazing tonkatsu! Crust is excellent and love the tonkatsu fatty corners that melts in mouth. Went there during weekday lunch and enjoyed the set lunch promotions. Free flow rice, veg and green tea. Option to top up one dollar for chawanmushi or ice cream. Must visit for tonkatsu lovers
Excellent japanese food at Tanjong Pagar. They have good lunch time set deals. You can try their ice cream if you top up an additional $1. Same for drinks and chawanmushi. There is a lunch crowd so make sure that you are early.
This place is famous for its deep fried pork and depending on the season, deep fried oyster.
I had the pleasure of enjoying the oyster which was towards the end of the season.
The food is consistent across the outlets, in Japan or in Singapore.

In my second time dining here, I ordered oysters and tenderloin katsu. Oysters were ok, served steaming hot with mayonaise sauce. This time the tenderloin won my heart as I got fed up with the fattiness of the loin meat in my previous dine-in. Overall, the food was good and filling. Staff are nice
