Food Street Keng Fish Head Steamboat Eating House - Singapore - Photo album

Visited this restaurant on 2 May 2022 for dinner. The food were yummy and portions just right but some of the dishes are on the higher prices. Services was alright and they served the dishes smoothly, doesn't need to wait for too long.
Love the rich fish soup base & they are so generous with the yam & cabbages. Like how the broccoli are not over seasoned nor oily when usually the zi char stir fried vegetables can be quite greasy. The least approved dish among us is the tofu as it is not the smooth type. All the dishes are 5 pax
Their. Customer service waa top notch. I have to reschedule and they were quick to follow-up with an WhatsApp confirmation. Food was great.. Orderd the set of 6 for 6pax..reasonable priced... Steamboat was the highlight of the menu.. Cooked slowly over charcoal.. The taste.. The ingredient used...
Love their traditional fish soup with charcoal fired steaboat style. Ordered the red snapper fish soup, hot plate toufu, chilli Kang Kong and spare ribs with tomato sauce. The fish is fresh! Perhaps can have more sauce for the ribs, a bit dry.
Stopped in for dinner and had a great meal. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu offering great recommendations. The atmosphere is just nice, suitable for any small family or informal social gathering. Excellent, unassuming and wonderful find. Great variety and fine value tasting menu
The restaurant has aircon and it is clean. Reservation can be done online via Google Map. The restaurant was not crowded on a Wed evening. Efficient and competent service. I explained I wanted an extra ladder for each of the five diners due to the increased number of Covid cases; the waitresses obl
Delightful cze char dinner after several fulfilling sessions with the fish steamboat. Friendly service staffs. Steamboat broth is umami laden with MSG. Tried their cze char dishes on this trip and am impressed with the prawn roll aka "hei cho", ingredients are defined without too much fillers. Price
Definitely one of the best places for steamboat fish in SG. The other dishes as part of the set incl. Indonesian curry sotong and kum heong lala. Both were good but the steamboat is the main attraction for good reason. Rich natural seafood flavours with a light smokiness from charcoal. Delicious!
