Hylam Street Old Coffee - Singapore - Photo album

A cup of coffee costs $1, which is strong and gao (although can be quite inconsistent). Eggs are so so but also reasonably priced at $1. Uncle making coffee is the grumpy type. Expects long queue. E-payment available.
Best coffee around. The coffee doesn't taste sour and the milk has some nice sweet taste to it. I can drink Kosong from their coffee. They change the coffee socks every few customers to make sure the coffee is fresh for every customer. Inexpensive breakfast sets available here too, with nice Kaya bu
Freshly ground from coffee bean and cheap. One of the best coffee at hawker center.
This coffee is ultra awesome. Traditional blend of robusta dark roast beans, the coffee packs a mighty punch. I had the Kopi o kosong which allows me to taste the full flavours of the coffee. The barrister is the usual grumpy looking Uncle but he is serous at him work and produces excellent brew.
Fantastic post meal coffee. Same price you’d get (or even cheaper) at other coffee stands but the owner brews every batch fresh. You can definitely tell the difference with their coffee beans and milk. Small line at 4:30 but it cleared quite fast. Nice couple running the joint. Will return to try
Traditional way to prepare coffee hence the Q is long. Freshly brewed coffee but don’t hav the aroma that satisfy my sensations of coffee but the taste still acceptable. Still better than others around can giv a try.
Hands down one of the best coffee I've had. You can see Uncle putting in effort into every cup of coffee he makes. At $1 a cup, this is such a steal!
I asked if I could get a bigger cup and uncle replied: it would have to be in the paper cup and it wouldn't be nice. Settled for the traditional cup and it was good. Uncle is serious about his coffee 👍🏼
