Review Paradise Classic - Singapore

Wah! That umami flavour was bursting in my mouth! The prawns were so fresh and the broth so thick, it’s super shiok lah! I ordered a large signature prawn hor fun to share with my friend and it was just nice. I usually eat it with plenty of green and red chilli but I didn’t have to do that with this. Here’s a picture of the empty plate with all the sauce slurped up. Oops! Soooo good! Gonna bring my foodie Mom here to try. Glad I queued to wait for this.

The Canton Paradise at The Forum is unique and delicious. The ambience is fantastic with the great decor in the restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious with attractive pig jelly, a good choice for dessert to finish off the dining experience with a smile. =)

Love the prawn broth hor fun (slightly spicy), and the thin beehoon (didn't managed to take any pics)! The thick beehoon was also not bad! Succulent prawns and flavourful broth. We enjoyed it so much.

I have tried paradise classic at Jewel. Compare to sentosa, food presentation and tastes are the same. Meaning cooking standard is standardise across this group. Is a concept like Da Pai Tang or we lovingly call it zhichar. At sentosa, everything is tourist price. Most people would go to Ding Tai Fung for a meal as is considered more affordable. When I stay at sentosa I would want to try other restaurant because DTF is found everywhere and the price are almost the same. Food is nothing to shout about but taste is nice. Not much of varieties but portion is good for each pax. I would eat here rather than the Malaysia food court because I know at PC, they are chefs while the food court are cooks. There is still some standards in cooking the food. Service standard lose to jewel. We ate around 1630hrs so some of the staff are resting and thus only 3 were working. They tried their best and I shall not comment. Every service industries has shortage of capable service crew members. So long is not unreasonable, I shall not fault them. Place is nice and cosy with tall ceilings. Decoration is beautiful too. Worthy to be at sentosa.

Efficient service, our orders were quickly taken at the entrance. I like the roast chicken very much. The sour and chilli sauce that comes with it, goes very well with it too. Although most Chinese restaurants serve roast chicken with a seasoned salt. So this is a little different. The tofu with century egg (a cold dish) is very appetizing too. The bitter gourd with eggs is a simple home dish that is well made too. My friends said the stewed pork bun is tender too. Overall a nice lunch for us. Service is cordial and attentive.

So far the best paradise restaurant I had tasted. Ordered the prawn broth mee hoon, sweet sour pork, garlic steam fish and Ching long vege, all pairing so well and really good wok taste

Excellent service, addictively good food. 😋 Ate the Prawn Hor Fun and Seafood Claypot Mee Tai Bak dishes.

No longer the crowd it used to have before the Circuit Breaker lockdown. My all time favourite is the mushroom chicken. Meat is tender and the gravy soup is soothing to drink. Only the herbal soup I think is too small in quantity, when you consider the price tag. Overall, it is a good place you can consider dining.
