Nice beancurd and soya milk! Good for breakfast and supper. But their meesua CMI. Please dont order.
You can expect very fine and silky tauhuey from selegie soybean! Added a mix of three tang yuans and it was about $3.20 or $3.60 i think. Their youtiaos are also good to pair with the beancurd. Could tell that their tangyuans are not the frozen ones, they were very soft and filled generously. Enjoyed the sesame ones the most but their peanut tangyuan included sesame seeds inside which made it more “fragrant”. The red bean tang yuan was unique and it was alright but I wouldn’t rave about it.
I always buy original flavours, grass jelly, beancurd, soya bean drink. And 8/10 times does not disappoint. Other items on menu like youtiao/butterfly/muffins r just not good. They do what they r known for the best. The rest maybe from suppliers.
I buy from them almost every other day for 3 months liao, some qc is needed for same quality everyday. Food biz has high turnover so diff people cooking the soya bean every other day is expected to have diff taste. Altho some days the qc not that good, i will still patronise them cos some days soyabean r really tasty n texture gotten right.
Usually i go at 2-4pm, off peak hour but theres still some customers buying. Only 1-3 people in queue so its ok. but this shows their popularity is very good. Crowd usually comes at 6pm onwards by office workers off work.
The store assistants are friendly and their product are fresh . It’s price is dearer than the nearby Bendemeer market but it offers the extra mile of service and variety .
Perpetual long queue but it also shows how popular this place is.
My family is a huge fan of the beancurd here, we believe this is one of the best places for soya bean dessert.
The stall also sells a wide variety of other food such as glass jelly, muffins, etc.
Will recommend to anyone looking for solid beancurd.
