Celebrated my brother's birthday here last night with a bottle of champagne and vodka. And I must say its love in the first degree for the vibe of this place! The music was rocking, the arcade games were a nice touch of nostalgia and the drinks were reasonably priced. The best thing about this place (Imho) was the service experience, from being welcomed at the door to the end of the night, everyone from the floor managers to bartenders were very attentive, warm and helpful. With this strong game of customer service and good music, I believe Nineteen80 will be a - sweet dream that are made of these, and who am I to disagree..

NINETEEN80, an arcade-bar at Tanjong Pagar, is bringing back the good ol’ days with Bruce Lee murals, old-school tunes and arcade games. The bouncer outside was quite strict on dress codes & did not allow singlets or slippers, luckily I had a jacket to wear over my singlet. Dirty Taters ($10.90) A dirty mix of tater tots, cheddar & gouda cheese, fried chicken bits. It was really nice, because i loved tater tots chicken & whatever sauce they drizzled over. Nothing out of the ordinary as all fried food are supposed to taste good, else the other dishes on the menu is likely not appealing. B.L.T ($11.90) Crispy chicken tender in a hotdog roll with chicken bacon, lettuce, cheddar cheese and honey mustard sauce. Not as amazing as the Dirty Taters and i would recommend getting 2 Dirty Taters instead. I also noticed there were 2 tables which could play games inside the table as it’s a screen! Didn’t get to try it as it was reserved. Perhaps another time, or not.

I happened to pass by while looking for a place to chill after dinner and chanced upon this retro bar with 80s joystick arcade games. It was amazing that the game was inside my table, and the joysticks at the table's edge. No service charge was charged for our drinks, which were really delicious concoctions so kudos to the bartender. I will definitely remember this place with such a wide variety (almost 800) of nostalgic games. It even came with arcade tokens that were free flow as long as we bought drinks!

First time back since the whole COVID debacle. The place is huge now! Shame we can’t play the arcade machines anymore but totally understandable. Music’s great as always with a mix of 80s-90s bangers. Also pleasantly surprised that they have vegetarian friendly food options now! Can’t wait to give those a try on our next visit.

Super hip, fun and never boring. Love the music, the vibes, the people and the fun tables with in-built arcade games! I would like some non-deep-fried items in the menu sometimes though… ;p

A nice bar for those looking for non mainstream music and some retro games. Not for serious drinkers though, because the cocktails are a little disappointing for the price you are paying. The place is pretty small, but it is a nice place to consider for private events.

Quite a nice themed bar/club serving music from the 80s to 00. Priced well. Has plenty of free-to-play arcade games from the 80s to 90s.
