Reasonable price, clean and nice ambience. Food is good, enjoy the porridge and prawn roll. The lady finger is a little too mature and hard to chew. Else could have given them a 5 star. Vegetables can be better. Overall still a good place to dine in.

I have come here a few times as a result of their promotions and gift vouchers. I agree with most reviews that the food is a bit pricey. The restaurant tries their best to stay competitive given the many choices in Nex.
My wife loves their porridge and served in a claypot, the porridge maintains its temperature. Their limited time one to one promotions is for porridge.
The catch is to buy two drinks @ S$2.60 and above. The attitude of their servers have improved. If you are polite to them, they are polite to you.
Overall, it is a pleasant experience especially if you love porridge and have a deal.

Price: $S11-$S25/menu. This price jus average view ya and without drink. Consider middle price
Place: Nex Building
Taste: Delicious
Conclusion:
I recommended this place. Price wise consider in the middle not too cheap and not too expensive. Depending on the menu itself. Taste is great, dont compare with hawker center for the price ya, we talking restaurants in here. The porridge in here is nice and the fried rice is tasty. Place wise is good for family and dinner for couple/friends.
Please keep it the good work and i will comeback again

I always pass by this restaurant, but didnt go in. Reason is because A1 does have cheaper version in foodcourt. After today's lunch, I conclude that you pay for the quality here. Price is not cheap. Porridge is $12.90 and up. Served in a claypot. I had frog porridge & it was reasonable ($14.90++). There were chunks of meat. Ordered the fish maw braised sea cucumber ($24.90). There were mushroom, sea cucumber & fish maw. A bit salty. The prawn balls/ngoh hiang ($14.90) tasted normal though. A meal for 3 (3 mains, 2 sides) was abt ~ $100. Service was fast & attentive. Plain water costs $0.50++.

*warning on unpleasant photo *
Ordered their takeaways on Monday from NEX outlet. Halfway through the meal, we found a baby cockroach in one of the dishes which was disgusting.
The management refunded the meal with no other ways of service recovery.
It did not take away our negative experience on their poor hygiene standards.

Always a good experience at a one. Awesome porridge with consistent quality. Specially like the chai poh tofu and the fish ball noodles. Noodles made out of fish ball. Very tasty.

Fried rice is tasty. You can see the difference between the image of food in the menu vs the real one. We paid $17.55 for this fried rice in the claypot. I think the claypot is for show only as the fried rice turnsd cold in a few minutes. Amount of rice is sufficient for 2 small eaters. Content-wise, nothing to be talked about. We literally have to dig to look for the shrimps.
The menu has no real food below $10. I think this restaurant is more expensive than din tai fung or pu tian. Worth going if they have discount only.

They should change their name to F9 instead of A1 because their food fail miserably.
I ordered 2 dishes for takeaway. The white bee hoon and scallops fried rice.
The white beehoon taste bland and kind of sour. Not much ingredients. Imagine, I need to add soy sauce and more red chilli inside to have just a little more taste to it.
The scallops fried rice. Just a few tiny mini scallops I could find. More diced up prawns to cover and show as if it has more scallops. Colour looks ok but when you eat it, oily and have no fragrance at all. Maybe just MSG.
Overall, maybe any koptiam zhi char can be better and tastier than Aone. If you look at other foodie apps or platforms, no wonder Aone is always offering up to 50% discount on their food always. If you want to give Aone a try, I suggest you to skip it and go to any other coffeeshop zhi char place to order. Anytime better.
