A neighbourhood bakery shop right next to 85 Fengshan Food Centre, serving old school cream cake slices in various colourful buttercream decoration. My favourites are always the peanuts and chocolate sprinkles. Ate it fresh at room temperature, soft and creamy. Left them in refrigerator and had it t
I am so willing to drive frm Jurong to Bedok for their old school buttercream cake. Always order 15pcs for myself. Eating and seeing it makes me happy. I cant find this taste anywhere. Love. Super love.
Old traditional taste. Many times it is not their standard dropped but our expectations have changed with time. To me, I still love and value traditional 古早味. Simply enjoying memory flashbacks while eating their cakes. Those days many boxes of weddings and engagements cakes were given to relatives,
Wonder why no one has mentioned their swiss rolls, especially the coffee one. Tried all their pandan, vanilla and coffee swiss rolls. Texture was good and soft and coffee has excellent roasted flavour. Well worth a try!
One of the best old school buttercream cakes sold in SG. I love the soft and fluffy texture of the cakes. V gd buttercream used.
One of my old favourites but not anymore. Standards have dropped tremendously. The kaya cake was next to tasteless and dry, fruit cake was dry... 10 Jul 2019, 7pm. Old style neighbourhood bakery. I definitely have to get their custard puff when I'm in the vicinity (7pcs for $2) - these sell out quite quickly. Love that their baked goods aren't overly sweet and reminds me of the taste we grew up with. Auntie is always friendly too.
We happened to see this shop after our dinner at the nearby 85 hawker centre while walking back to the car. First impression of the shop was it’s really old school. The cakes on sale here were also very old school. Reminded me of my childhood. Cakes were soft and spongy.
