Everyone at The Bread Shop was very polite to us, especially the waiter we were served by, who kept offering to refill our drinks, replenish our bread (it's free-flow!), etc. The service was excellent. The food and coffee were good too. I also like how The Bread Shop sells the traditional loaves of bread and jam that i grew up eating. Overall, it's a really nice and peaceful place that is worth visiting!

Cosy environment with friendly and smiley waiter. We had breakfast and lunch here for more than 3 hours. Definitely more than comfortable with our little one.

Excellent service by the waiter who greeted us from the entrance of the cafe and welcomed us very warmly. He was very engaging and was always keeping a bright smile and even served us water when we didn't request for and which we could have help ourselves to. Food was good and ambience was nice and chill. Thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Bread Shop!

Very good and friendly service provided. Always put on a smile and pays good attention to your needs. The foods there are equally fantastic and hot piping when served. The portions are generous as well. Keep up the good service and food quality. Will be back soon. :)

Popped by while waiting for my order to be made two shops away. Fantastic service. Found interesting traditional bread to take away as well. I know I’ll be back again one day.

Small cozy cafe that specialize in their bread, but don’t let it fool you. Their food in general is amazing. Tried the pasta and soups, all turned out yummy. Staff are friendly too. Price is within normal range of cafe price. Which is $15 and above for mains.

Love the ambience and the food. It really is The Bread Shop cos they make breads right. The croissant, sourdough n baguette was all done well. The truffle fries r the fatter kind n is done well, crispy on the outside n creamy on the inside. They even gave everyone eggs cos it was Easter holiday. My only problem is that the portion size is quite big (causing some food waste) n the table was kind of sticky bcos of the lacquer. Overall really good experience

Quaint little cafe in the area, good options for brunch menu with nice coffee! Prices are affordable and service is stellar!!! Decor has little touches of DIY very cute and homely. Place is not big so you may want to call or reserve to ensure you have a seat! Will be back again 👍🏼

Second time back here, the bread is simply irresistibly delicious. Love the variety of beverage here. The lack of one star is due to the inflexibility of allocating us to the corner table at 4pm, where it is their non peak hours. They insisted it is only for bigger groups (we are 2 person group) Photo attached to show how empty the shop is.

This little cozy cafe in Kovan offers a good menu at quite affordable prices. Do beware that you'll order and have to pay after you finish up at the counter. The servers go around the tables and refill your water glass which is a very nice touch. The bread pudding was delicious and the coffee was very well made. This place has all the good feels of a nice festive season cafe.

This is a hidden gem! They take pride in the food they prepare and I could taste the TLC behind the meal. Seriously! Food is yummy and the staff was attentive to our needs. Greatly enjoyed the breakfast set and the French toast. These are commonly served in many cafes but the bread shop is one place that does these 2 dishes so well, I'd be back for more soon!

Affordable, very quaint place but very crowded. Recommend to make reservation. Service is good and food is pretty alright considering the price. Coffee is on the lighter side . We down the entire fries.
