We enjoyed our dinner very much, and the service crew were friendly. We didn’t had to wait long for the food as they came quite fast, one after another, despite it was dinner hour and the restaurant was very busy. The new items on the menu are enticing, will definitely be back again to try them!

food is good but the wait is long, took >30min for my main and >45min for our sushi roll. If ok with a long wait, the service is fine and tomato broth seafood stew was good!

Service provided by the team during dinner on 27 June 2022 was commendable. My mum dropped her chopsticks while she was finishing her food and within a few seconds, a new pair was placed on the table. We didn’t get the name of the staff who provided the prompt service though. She was in black uniform and was busy attending to different things on the floor. While billing out, I had difficulty logging into my member account but Li Yan very patiently helped me though it. Good service makes a great difference to the whole dining experience.

One of my favourite places to enjoy Japanese food. The queue can be quite long esp 1 metre social distancing. Wide range of foods and observe change in seasons. Friendly staff who always puts the 😃

Ichiban Boshi offers the best sushi in Woodlands hands down. Forget about Sushiro and Hei Sushi, unless budget is a deciding factor. The A5 Wagyu Sukiyaki is fantastic, though its consistency has room for improvement (it tasted different on separate occasions). Avoid peak dinner timing as the queue can get really long, especially on weekends.

Nice ambience. They get busy most of the time. Great food. For family weekend gatherings its a perfect spot. Everyone can get something they like.

Range of options similar to its sister restaurants, Ichiban Sushi, but slightly more pricey. Ordered the Business Wazen - the saba fish was much more fishy than usual,not very pleasant. Although we came in before 12 on a Saturday, the place was quite understaffed so our food was slow to arrive and the waitresses also took some time to respond to requests (e.g. Drink refills).

This used to be one of my favourite restaurant..the standard of the food has dipped drastically..dish was extremely saltish and ask to change to another..again the salt level of a changed dish was as high..when spoke to manager..she said she knows its saltish but they can't alter the preparation SOP standards...guest this is gonna be the last meal with this restaurant then...how could business be run this way..disappointing.

Once of my favourite place to have Japanese food. Usually avoid the crowd during dinner time. Sometime may have to wait abit longer as I usually notice they are short handed. Service is ok once you speak nicely to the service staff. Always redeem my reward whenever possible.

Thanks to your shitty chef that did not prepare the fish properly. I ended up choking on fish bone and landed in the hospital A&E and spend over $470. I could have died.

How do you justify charging an extra $2.70 for two meagre pieces of eel with sauce on top of a standard chawanmushi? I thought I'd find more unagi inside but all I got was overcooked chicken and imitation crab. And then your sashimi salad, has only two types of cheap greens and cherry tomatoes, on top of mushy and tasteless slices of raw salmon. The "Japanese dressing" barely has any sesame oil nor paste, or soy. So how is it Japanese? The salad from McDonald's comes with a better dressing, seriously. Should have spent my money elsewhere but hey, not like you care anymore, since it's in the cash register.

Ordered additional onsen egg (which costed additional $2) for my udon, however they served me ban mian-ish normal egg. Very disappointed ��

very disappointed. i m.not trying to get max stamps but sincerely forgot i hv another valid card prior. the managers only know how to repeat the instructions on the card. my stamps total up only 6 stars. not maximum also. I do not understand. in addition, this is of the outlets that have rather varying quality n many times poor std food .. i will not go to this outlet again !

My family and I are a great fan of Causeway Point Ichiban. Friendly restaurant staff , but cannot be expected to make everybody happy at all time .. we have emotional too. Keep it up & don't give up...

Most staff are friendly except one(J Bang) have attitude problem. I was disgusted by the ocha cup, it's was full of stains.

Dinner here is such a disappointment. Upon hearing my consideration of cancelling an order, the impression the service crew gave me was that they rushed out the item incomplete, cold and not cooked totally. Not to mention the fish reeks of ammonia.

Multiple unpleasant experience, u will need to wait >45mins while they have no manpower in kitchen due to poor rotation planning, will leave you starving even they saw you and your baby waiting for food.

just a head up that both Penny and Amy have taken initiative to contact me resolving the issue. both of them have exercised professional skills in handling my case and am happy with their efforts. A pat of both shoulders for closing the chapter so to move on. regards, family dinner 8pm on 30/9, after 40 mins number Q. seated and food served after 30 mins from ordering. hilarious, home lady boss finishing 90% of the bowl, no red alert of wrong food and interestingly, correct food was brought to desk. talked to captain. admitted wrong table serving. a family next table was laughing, not sure on the screw up or happy for us the extra dinner set? told captain bring back the late food and to amend the bill and he agreed. finished everything near 9.25pm. walked to cashier for settlement, noticed the wrong/correct price was not swapped but me settled the bill mentally preparing to SWALLOW the possible light loss of price differences. settled bill with OCBC card but careless cashier did not issue $10 return voucher. only realize such incentive missing after landed home, read from internet. all in all, a massive mess and embarrassing impression, if to grade it correctly and fairly. perhaps management will seriously need to pick up hammer spanner fixing the severe leaks before house collapsed?meantime, it will take me a while, to consider a new 40 mins number Q, again?
