Kongwai Cantonese Cuisine - Singapore - Photo album

You know, where there is a queue in otherwise quiet food court, it could be worth queuing. Had to wait half an hour but definitely worth it! Excellent ginger beef! Very tasty. Kai lan was nice as a side dish.
Really like the homecook, basic (non fancy) cooking. Healthy with less salt and seasoning, dishes are cooked using the flavours from ingredients. Recommend cheese pork chop and horfun. Went back again for same dishes.
Menu show 6 pcs and price is 16 bucks When ordered, auntie changed to 18 bucks. Saying the prawns are bigger today. So add 2 dollars. I said OK. Then order came out, only 4 prawns. Auntie just Hehe and smiled. Small and expensive, dun patronise unless u want Cantonese fine dining.
$5 for blackbean horfun... long queue.. taste is good, portion is enough for a lady.
Taste okay but ridiculously expensive. $6 for 6 pcs of small little 姜葱鱼片。not worth the price

Happened to be at Tiong Bahru market during dinner time but didn’t know what to eat. Saw Cantonese dishes and decided to give it a try. To be fair, we didn’t order a lot as we had other food items. Taste: As a Cantonese myself, I would expect more depth in its taste but it wasn’t the case. I think
