This hidden place at Bugis OG served great food which makes me recall how my granny cook the dishes at home when she is still around with us. Their prices are reasonable and the services was great! Definitely a place to visit.

First time visit. Ordered the crispy seafood noodle and vegetarian fried rice. Love the flavour. And the Wok Hei…. Just right. Have to wait a bit though.

Yesterday was the worst restaurant in my life ever experience. The whole restaurant only 2 persons working. The so called chef is so rude. At the counter, told her I want one cup of coffee but she mumbled in Mandarin and just walked to the kitchen. So far me and my mum heard only $4.50 then the rest I couldn’t understand a word of what she said. So I went to the counter, I asked a young boy, he asked me to be seated and will come to served me. He tried logged in to their tablet also can’t. He is very kind and said he will do at the counter. Later 2 ladies came asking to a table when the (so called chef) saw us still sitting with one cup of coffee. She shouted so loud that for coffee is $4.50 per pax not as per $2.50 in the menu. ( meaning I only ordered one cup but occupied 1 table). So I asked her what is all the fuss about and she pointed to me they have put a A4 laminated saying $4.50 per pax. In the first place, you should tell me the charges for the coffee is $4.50 and not $2.50. Honestly I don’t know how much is the coffee and if you will tell I am ok. Why must you have to shout so loud. I stopped drinking my coffee go to the counter told the young boy I paying by grab for $9.00 instead of so called the $4.50 told her shut up as she keep mumbling again. What is this? My advise I f you’re not in good mood please don’t work.

Very nice food here. Services is equally good. Exceed my expectation. The thunder tea rice is awesome... the veg are fresh and soft.

Had a surprisingly good fried rice at OG granny secret. The wok hei is good. The rice is light but very flavorful.

Always went to. This restaurant for tea break or dinner after shopping at OG Albert Co. Plex. It is inside OG departmental store. Great for shoppers to have a rest n take a break n have some snacks. But the service was not all time good. The supervisor sometimes very welcoming, especially when you ordered a big amt of food, but if you just order drinks and snacks, you received diff kind of attitude, even if we are frequent customers. And the food are not cheap. That is why it deserves only 3 stars from me.

Food is good, but service is not acceptable as the waitress spilt water on one of us without being apologetic. In addition they only highlighted that a dish was spicy after serving, without offering to replace it (although understandably that would be out of goodwill).

A total total rip off! There was a supposed collaboration with the Chinese Cultural centre for a Toisan menu with the Ho yeah festival. For $78 ++ for 2 pax - there were 2 options - set A and B. The soups were reasonable , enough for a bowl each. But the dishes were so paltry , a fried vegetable and some strips of meat. And a dessert that never appeared ! The service was at first laughable as the waitress said it was her first day, part time. The lady boss , who appeared in her pajama like pants , admitted that the set was too expensive and apologised for the really bad service and food , saying that she could not get the ingredients, but offered no discount. We paid close to $200.00 for 4 pax and the meal took more than 3 hours as there was an interval of more than 20 minutes for each dish to be served. We had to constantly remind the staff that we did not get one dish or the other . And my grand daughter cried as they just kept forgetting to.bring her a glass of water. Avoid avoid at all costs !
