Yishun 925 Chicken Rice has been around and popular for their chicken rice. They have a number of stalls around and I'm revisiting this stall in Jurong East. There was a long queue during lunchtime but with their speedy service, we got our orders in no time.
Yishun 925 Chicken Rice is known for its consistent quality and boneless chicken at a pocket-friendly rate.
Steam chicken, liver and Egg for 2 - $10
The chicken meat is succulent and tender, drenched with fragrant soy sauce and sesame oil.
Not many chicken rice stalls offer Achar (pickles) as one of the sides. I'm quite please that they have include these appetizing sides.
No doubt that it's only a coffeeshop stall in neighbourhood places, I will emphasise that their quality and consistency can beat some of the commercialized chained chicken rice stalls hands down. Do you agree with me?

Can be acceptably eaten but no satisfaction. Too little rice.
Too little fresh cucumber.
Achar is well pickled, no taste of greenness but too little pineapple. Achar is good to integrate with the oil in the rice.
Chilli is hygienically sealed but too spicy and somehow the flavour does not complement chicken rice.
The chicken rice has a tard aftertaste and lack fragrance.
Roasted and White chicken meat were dry and lack flavour.

One of the best chicken rice, but agree that the portion is small. Ordered a half chicken and 2 rice for $14.60 for 2 adults and it was not enough for us. The chicken is soft and full of flavour and the rice is so frangrant, sugges you order additional portion of rice. Comes with a bowl of soup, minimal veg and add your portion of sweet black sauce and chilli sauce. High quality comfort food!

Comparing it to the original 925 chicken rice at Yishun, this seems to be a bit off in every aspect..
From the texture of the chicken to the fragrance of the rice, and ultimately the chilli itself, there’s unfortunately a fair bit that was lost in transition in each component across both outlets.
Having gave 5 stars without complaints for the main outlet, I struggled to find an amazing piece here, hence the rating.

Came here on a weekend and eventhough it was crowded, service was pretty quick. We ordered 925 chicken rice and it was super super good! Highly recommend you to try it. Price was pretty decent, around 4/5$ per plate. The rice itself was fragrant and the chicken was tender.

Dishonest stall, when reach the stall no more chicken hanging but ask the stuff any half chicken and the reply is Yes. After reach home realise the portion not very big and I am sure there is no drum stick in it.

Service gone from bad to Worse Legundi branch. Ordered few dishes for family including drinks, none arrived despite few nudges and we sat at full view of empty table for extended time. Later told us the chicken is all sold and we left with not even single drink on our table! Would not come here again.
