Ponggol Seafood - Singapore - Photo album

My father-in-law was diplomatic in reviewing the dishes, saying we had not ordered their signature dishes.. so it is our fault the food did not live up to expectations! The restaurant documented its origin from the old Punggol Point so that's a plus for nostalgia seekers like us. That's the reason
To get here you have to either drive or cab down. It’s located at the end of Punggol. Punggol Settlement has a nice view of the sea and has many other restaurants and bistro bars. Anyway Punggol Seafood is a old school seafood restaurant. The restaurant looks traditional and old but clean. The pri
I was lucky to get invited to a dinner there. The food was very good. Liked the chili crab. It can get a bit messy when eating. There are plenty of napkins and a room to wash your hands. Give it a try!
Be prepared to wait for a long time when you dine here. Came on a Sunday evening and waited for 1 hour for the food to come to realise our order was lost. Server immediately resent our order and gave us priority, and food came out in 15~20 mins. Very clearly understaffed with 3 servers on average.

Located at The Ponggol Settlement, it serves popular local Chinese dish, particularly chilli crabs. There was pomo $29 per crab. Ordered chilli and black pepper crab. Disappointment. Was there with family today (9 April) reached around 6.20pm, managed to get table for 6 adults and 1 child (below 2 years old). Placed our order and waited but only the drinks came with no sight of the food, timing was already 7.40pm. Went to enquire, then they serve our sambal Lala
The chilli crab was better while the flesh of the pepper crab tasted dry, $90 each. We liked the white bee hoon, at $6 was great value and comfort food. The salted egg prawns, asparagus were good too. The famous mee goreng was above average but we preferred the bee hoon more. Condition of the toilet
