Was at this Restaurant at North point Yishun. I must say food was amazing loved the Nankotsu Ramen. Its so shiok I felt like having another one immediately. My wife took the Mega Don and it was nice too. The ambience is great and the staff there are so friendly and helpful especially Lu Yi. Lu Yi was so bubbly and ever ready to assist us with anything we needed. Also can see she was not just working but she enjoyed what she was doing. I will surely be visiting this place again with my Kids. No regrets.

This place is for quick bites. The price is significantly high for the food provided. The pork has no favour and the salad is just vegetables with salad. I would have eaten this at Food courts and be satisfied but this is a restaurant. The tea is so bland. Pass by this if you have other options.

The best tendon I’ve ever eaten. Crispy and tasty batter, yet soft and juicy food on the inside. Makes every cent that I spend on it worth it. Generous portions of tempura, though not that much rice - which is totally ok. We had ordered the signature tendon set as it was our first time there. The tempura includes white fish, prawns, seaweed, mushroom, long green beans, carrot, eggplant, sweet potato and egg. This set is also available in a spicy version, which is nice too! They also have free-flow fermented bean sprouts on the table - healthy!

Came after lunch time. No crowd. No queue. Food was made to order. All items are fried after receiving your order. Chawanmushi is pretty standard. Could be more flavourful though. Tendon items are fried to a golden brown crisp! Rice is drizzled with their special sauce which makes the dish v nice. Fried fish are flaky, shrimps are tender and veg are still moist inside. Complete your meal with a glass of ice tea! Worth coming back.

Good food, great service. Chijimi is a bit oily. Chawanmushi serving size is a bit small otherwise food are delicious.

How to get the best value?
1) Be a member -Part of the Ajisen family so you should register and use your rebates. We got like 3 bucks off just by being members.
2) Order the children set. 2 choice only. Rice or noodles. Order noodles. Portion is akin to adult size. Can share.
3) Order lunch special if any. Not that it is cheap but it taste okay and many fried pieces can share. But be warned - the fried fish is not exactly to be raved about. Taste like the typical economical sutchi kind of fish. So taste is so so. The prawn is good.
Staff are fairly attentive maybe because it is off peak timing

Craving for tendon yesterday so off I went to find a tendon restaurant to scratch that itch. I found Akimitsu and it was underwhelming. The tempura batter on the fish, prawn, and veg was too thick, oily, and by the time I was done, I was feeling pretty queasy from all that grease. Helpings weren't even that big. And it came with the tiniest chawanmushi I've ever seen-- they may as well have not bothered. Had the Signature Tendon, but I'm most likely not coming back, my stomach still hasn't forgiven me.

No no no no no.
Much nicer and cheaper tempura don at suntec tiger or Raffles Place basement (forgotten he shop name). Food is stale and dry. Never visited since my last visit.
