Ah Ma Lor Mee - Singapore - Photo album

Came here a few times to try their lor mee but they were sold out. Decided to drop by earlier one day and glad that they were still operating. If i am not wrong, they have another outlet in Choa Chu Kang. Apart from Lor mee, they also sells prawn noodle. Prices of the lor mee starts from SGD$4 omwar
Lor mee was ok - gravy was flavourful and not too starchy and the noodles did not have alkaline taste but the fried fritters were too doughy. Seller was pleasant and accepted e-payment.
Generous portion with good quality ingredients. Fried meat balls were good! Well worth the $4.
It’s money for value, taste above average, a convenient choice when there isn’t much of a choice in the same coffeeshop
The lor flavour is not that tense. Add 1 teaspoon of raw garlic to enhance the lor flavour. (Normally raw garlic is not my thing, but it enhance the flavour in this case) Gravy is too starchy to my favour (basically is starch lump), lots of vinegar can counter balance it. Fried meat ball is the best
The gravy saucy did not have the oomph factor. Thick but lacked the egg mixture in the gravy. Saving grace was its generous servings of fish meat and braised pork slices. Do add their fried meat balls.
Ordered $3.00, smallest. Very satisfied with the gravy, thick enough and nice flavour. The portion of noodles and ingredients are very generous. Though the prawn roll can be a little sweeter... Overall it's worth the money!
Lor mee is good. not to starchy, just nice to feel full, big eaters may want to add more ingredients though. sometimes though the seller can be abit gruff, maybe cuz very busy hence 4 not 5 stars.
