Hong Kee Porridge - Singapore - Photo album

Love it. Very tasty and the meat were very tender too. It's the nostalgic taste of childhood. The Fish porridge were sold out when I was there, hope I could get to try the next time there.
Was recommended by friend who bought us here. Friendly lady boss, The pork liver marinated and very tender But the porridge not really my type, too watery.
Had the pork porridge. Well cooked and broken down, like Cantonese porridge. Nicely flavoured. Pork was chewy and tasty. Enjoyed the meal. Big portion, had to share.
The pork meatball porridge is my favorite porridge in Singapore. Generous portion, bursting with delicious flavor. I go out of my way to eat here and bring friends here if they haven't tried it. Downside is the stall is usually manned by one of the sons who's super unfriendly - doesn't look at you,
Century egg with minced meatball and pork slices ($5). Congee was smooth and cooked in tasty stock. The bowl is priced higher then average but it was loaded with tender pork slices, minced meat balls and an entire chopped century egg.
Texture is more watery than your usual cantonese porridge but flavors are extremely old school and comforting. Very generous with ingredients.
Century Egg with Pork Porridge. A mom and pop shop that one could easily missed especially if you don't really read Chinese. Their grains are broken down to almost bits with full of ingredients in the bowl.
Nostalgic and comforting bowl of Porridge filled with generous ingredient. So shiok. Location: Hong Kee Porridge, Commonwealth Crescent Market and Food Centre, 31 Commonwealth Cres, #02-89, Singapore 149644
