First time at this place. Gave it a4 star rating as there were hits and misses. We had the traditional Japanese table and service was good. Good service, we were attended by a patient lady server.
My favourite was the beef ishinabe ( beef rice in hot stone bowl) …most amazing dish we had there.

I've been a longtime customer of Megumi of more than 15 years, and in it's heyday at Siglap would eat there once a week. At the time, it was by far the best Japanese restaurant in the east. Sadly I think that standards have fallen significantly. For instance, the Maki (picture below) has become tiny
