Teck Ghee Court Market and Food Centre is part of a town named Teck Ghee Court.
The must order food here is goona be eng kee bak ku teh. Please remember to order their famed pig trotters as well. It is to me, one of the best traditional Chinese pig trotters in Singapore.
Other classic food that you can try here includes carrot cake, braised duck rice. There is a couple of fish ball and prawn noodles stalls here but I haven't got a chance to try. The queue for the fishball noodles and pig trotters is the longest.
What I like about the place is that there is a wall murul display just right beside the market and Food Centre. It gives a nice touch and alsp showcase some of the history and information about this place.
Besides the wide range of goods and services offered by the shops here, residents and visitors can also enjoy local delicacies and buy fresh market produce and groceries from Teck Ghee Market.
There is also Ang Mo Kio Swimming Complex and Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park just right opposite the place and is the perfect hang out for families and fitness enthusiasts.
Additional buildings include Ang Mo Kio Town Council which is located adjacent to this centre.
I love the place though the food is generally average. It is spacious and the tables' arrangement is good, better than average food centre and hawker centre in Singapore.
Belinda's putu mayam is good but temporary she doesn't sell pancakes due to manpower crunch. Shiok shiok noodle is not bad. The lor mee next to shiok² is average.
06 May 2022: Teck Ghee Court Market & Food Centre…spacious, well ventilated and with many local favorites at reasonable prices.
OLD TEOCHEW BONELESS BRAISED DUCK & KWAY CHAP… No overpowering taste, soft braised duck, intestine, smooth kway in light “soup” and nice vinegar chilli. Yummy!

Every morning long long queue 🚶🏽🚶🏿♀️🚶🏿🚶🏾♀️🚶🏾🚶🏽♀️🚶♀️🚶🚶🏻♀️
Daily 8am to 3pm. Come and try it up
Good variety of food in the mornings. Popular food here include pancakes, fried carrot cake, mee rebus, vegetarian, braised duck and pig's trotters. Crowded in the morning as it is popular with park goers. Few stalls are open after lunch.
Found a gem and wallet friendly kuay chap stall. This set for 2 was $8 including the kuay. Could not finish all and had to tabao back for second round with self cooked porridge.
Plus the owner is very friendly.
Unit is #01-03.
It's just beside Eng Kee bak kut teh stall which is good too.
It's definitely a good place to get my greens and fruits
