Had a wonderful experience at Nanta BBQ. Food was great and unlike many Korean restaurants, Nanta's menu offered diversified food choices, such as BBQ, pork ribs and army stews. My family and I had the pork ribs with cheese and the helpful staff taught us how to wrap the cheese around the pork. What we liked about dining at Nanta was that the food catered to a wide range of age groups. Having small children in our family who could not eat spicy food, we chose the "mild" spiciness level for the pork ribs. Pork ribs turned out to be very succulent and well-marinated, as well as non-spicy, which was perfect for the small children. Also, we decided to try the army stew, Budae Jigae which was actually very worth our money, because of the unlimited ramen and soup refills. Serving portions were large, and service was definitely fast and efficient, albeit patronising Nanta on a busy Friday night. Overall, Nanta BBQ provided us with a wholesome dining experience. I would definitely recommend it for both small and big groups looking for a hearty and affordable meal that won't break the bank.
I have enjoyed my meal at nanta last weekend with my friends. We ordered the Cheesy BBQ pork ribs and the La-bokki ( sweet spicy noodle with korean mochi ). The staff served us the ribs in a hotplate where they helped us wrap the cheese around the ribs. They gave us the choice of choosing the spiciness level of the ribs so that it is suitable for all age. The cheese flavour wasn't overwhelming and it even complimented the marination of the ribs perfectly. The spicy noodle was bit sweeter then i expected but it still tasted great just a little different then what i imagine. The generous portion from nanta is totally worth the slightly higher pricing compared to the other korean restaurant in singapore. The staff service was great, as they were friendly and gave the warmth atmosphere which made me feel quite at home, the boss who is korean was very interactive with the customers which ultimately made the whole meal experience much more enjoyable.
Visited Nanta on Saturday noon for a birthday lunch.
What we enjoyed:
1) The excellent quality and taste of their food (seafood pancake, cheese chicken, steamed egg and army stew) - all yummy!
2) Attentive service from the staff from the start till we left the place.
3) We were given complimentary steamed egg knowing my friend was having her birthday. Great surprise!
4) My goddaughter accidentally broke their utensils and the staff didnt pursue about it.
Will definitely visit them again and a place to recommend for good Korean food.

Went there on a Thursday evening with my family. Had the cheese pork ribs and the aged pork belly. Everything was top notch, from the freshness and quality of the ingredients to the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. (Free flow kimchi didn't hurt!) My only regret was not expecting the huge serving sizes so we ended up having to bring the leftovers home. Totally recommend it as a treat!
It's the third time being here at Nanta BBQ and i have tried several dishes here. Comparing to the korean food in other restaurants, this has a greater variety to choose from and it all makes me come back for more. Their signature dish, Cheese Ribs, is superb as i'm not a cheese lover but this dish pulled me in when i tried it as the cheese was heavenly. Their army stew is second to none as its spicyness is really tasty and adding a little cheese in the stew elevated the whole dish! If you're coming with friends, i suggest getting the BBQ set. I've tried both the beef BBQ set and pork BBQ set which is really worth a try since there's steam egg and 3 different soups to choose from which is included in the set. Reservations are efficient too. All in all, if i were to have korean cuisine, this place is always the one that comes to mind!
I wish to compliment the male waiter (without specs) who served us when we were having lunch at 12pm today. His service was excellent and we were very impressed. He regularly comes to check whether we need to top up our bu dae ji gae soup and soup paste, proactively gives us new sets of banchan when we are going to finish ours and also notify us about our free drinks. We were sharing a bu dae ji gae among 6 of us and there were other bigger groups around, but his undivided attention on every group of customer is really worth complimenting.
In contrast, the other male waiter with specs was all the while in his poker face and lacks the initiative. He even wanted us to name which exact banchan we want to refill even when we are unsure of the names. I think he should learn from the other waiter.
Nevertheless, we enjoyed our meal there and the food was great. We will be back, and we hope that the service can continue to be that good!
Service was very good. We were served by the waiter with spects at the cashier counter. Very proactive and polite. Works with passion.
The food was better than expected. We ordered the cheese ribs and army stew with beef. Serving was big enough for 4 to share and very delicious. We packed home the unfinished food and it still taste good the next day!
I went to Nanta last week for my friend's birthday and had a very enjoyable time. The servers were very friendly and helpful and played a major in helping to successfully surprise our friend. Really appreciate that. The food was served quick andthe staff were extremely efficient. my favourite was the bbq set it was very worth it and the manager was very hospitable and friendly he even came to our table to check on us a few times if we needed any help and personally barbecued the meat for us :) the soup that came along with the bbq set was very flavorful too! I'd definitely recommend the bbq set to every one!! the rice cakes in particular were very unique as it came with an option of adding cheese, ramen and other toppings different from what other restaurants have to offer. All in all my experience at Nanta was a truly enjoyable one and the food was really delicious I'd definitely be back for more!
Great food, and one of the best customer service I've seen in a restaurant - personable and attentive staff, and went beyond the call of duty to give our birthday girl a lovely surprise. Kudos to Nanta, will definitely recommend others to come here!!
Their food was good. Service was good also. I would strongly recommend my friends to come and try their food.

We ordered the set lunch, food was good and service staff was very polite and friendly.
The cheese is so good even on its own.... The ribs are xtremely soft n melts in ur mouth.... Good combi wif the side condiments.. Super love the spam rice too...
