We had Jumbo Ambeng with extra side dishes. Rendang is cooked to perfection. Chicken lemak cili padi the gravy is rich. All dishes are well cooked & tasty. Level of spiciness is just right according to my son's Chinese Friend. I don't normally eat the irapuato but yrs is exceptional.
I would highly recommend my spice affair to others.
Second time here and the food is as amazing as always. Generous portions and a great place if you're looking for authentic, rich in spice food. Service is impeccable as well; friendly and never lack of smile. Only thing that the team can improve is to serve the dessert when we are finishing our food instead of serving hem together with the mains. All in all, highly recommended place!
My father in law who is a fussy eater gave this place of 5.5/5. Big portion & food was delicious! My in laws have tried so many famous nasi ambengs but this is probably the best with portions. Not to mention, the set includes not only chicken, rendang or prawns, it includes everything! Worth the price and money spent! Will definitely come again together!
Highly recommended, specially the sotong sambal. I never eat sotong that soft, ever. Soft not chewy, so soft that at first I thought it's a cow skin (like the one in gudeg, a type of indonesian food). Very nice. �

Dishes are cooked with love, strictly sticking to the right balance of spices, not overly doused with chilli so its good for the average spicy level diners and no cheating in quality. Plus point no msg was used.
The urap (salad) is lovely but it can use an additional of wing bean for crunch. I love that it uses tumeric leave as flavour enhancer.
Cow's lung very well marinated & prepared so tender n melts off easily.
The lemak cili padi chicken is thick, rich & flavourful. Its filled with rempah (spices) yet it is not spicy. Just can't get enough of it!
Just talking about the dishes is making me drool about it a.g.a.i.n. I can't rave about it enough!! Already making plans for a gathering with my friends to enjoy Nasi Ambeng together

My first time eating there. The solo ambeng is big in quantity. Very filling for a big eater like me. Taste great. The beef is soft and comes with nice curry and sambal sauce. There is a large crispy fish too. Awesome find at such a place near lavender mrt. A gem of a restaurant. I would celebrate my birthday there. The staff is friendly.
