The appam here is really good! The butter one and the royale (egg cheese) are amazing! Yea it’s sinful, all that butteriness with crisp on the edges. But the indulgence is worth it.. The putu Mayam is so fresh as well! And it’s amazing they just sell these 2 but gotta have it all ^^

Princess Appam ($3.50). Its Appam with an egg and sliced cheese. Crispy edges and soft fluffy centre. Had it with delicious chutneys instead and it was all so good.

Appam (SGD $3) @ Heavens. . Previously known as Heaven's Indian Curry, this stall specialises in 2 items - thosai and appam. . Madame Muthuletchmi Veerapan and son Suren execute this deftly here. Their plain appam has crispy thin edges with a pillow soft center, sweet and savoury with a light sour tang from the fermented rice batter. . It's paired with grainy orange sugar and fluffy fresh grated coconut, lending lovely earthy sweet flavour. . Their 'Princess' version is all the more decadent and delicious, with melted butter, gooey cheddar cheese, and a fried egg as a crown. . As their stall name suggests, it's simply divine.

Thosai, Putu Mayam, Appam is less common Indian food compare to Prata that served by Indian Muslim store. Today is my first time trying Thosai from this store. The store is clean and the store keeper practice good hygiene. I'm regular at Ghim Moh Market, but always there's long Q for this store. And today my timing is good, just 3 customers before me. I had the Masala Thosai, it's light and the sauces is not spicy but flavorful. I highly recommend it.

The stall sells Thosai, Appam, and Putu Mayam. I tried the Egg Masala Thosai ($3.5) and it was good. The thosai has the slight tang. I also liked the masala filling -- the potato is mashed and there are some shreds of vegetables inside to give it a crunch. The curry and the chutney that comes with it are also good.
