Kong Kee - Singapore - Photo album

Got a shock at first taste. Ordered $10 bowl. Meat is too soft. Soup is disappointingly bland. I had to add the dark soy sauce to bring up the taste but no much diff. Maybe wrong day to visit being a Monday. I left the food unfinished.
A good bowl of mutton soup to warm your tummy. The broth is made of a dash of Chinese wine and herbs to give it the 回甘 taste.
Herbal mutton soup the Chinese way. There is a hints of herbal in the soup, not those over powering type. Lots of ginger in the soup to remove the mutton taste. The meat is cook just right soft and tender. Loves the bones with those jelly stuff.
Flavourful. Tastes good. Portion ok. Two person need 3 bowls.
Yummy 😋😋😋 My only disagreement would be their serving a little too small as the cost for Lamb/mutton is pretty high. To be fully satisfied, one may consider to order at least S$6.00 of mixed mutton soup.
Great soup base. Light and tasty, yet not overpowering with herbs. Could have given bit more mutton. The old couple are friendly.
Soup is nice and meat quite tender, personally I feel the serving quite small. The chili sauce goes well with the meat.
Great price and amazing taste. My favourite place to eat during the weekend.
