The food was meh, but the prices were reasonable. The waitress was standing next to the table for the whole duration of our visit. I guess they all wanted to go home. Nice ambiente though

One of my favorite places to chill and have affordable drinks. About $40 per bucket of 5 beers, order the grilled lamb or meat platter. You recline, dine, chat, very relaxed. The only downside - the staff seem to be very relaxed too. They don't really bother you, but they can take a long time to get your orders up. If you're going with a big group (the place can take a lot of people, I am guessing about 200 total), order ahead or the kitchen can take as long as 2 hours to deliver your food.

Food is reasonably tasty but service is indeed slow. They are all really friendly but just a little chill.
Overall if you just want to veg out with your friends... Good place!

I used to be a regular patron of Nabins when it was located at Sultan Gate and the food there was very much better than after it moved to Arab Street. I had ordered the Shish Kebab and what I was served was Mutton Curry poured over Mutton Pieces and even that was atrocious. One ponders whether if there had been a change in Management and/or the Chefs. Nevertheless, the food was terrible. The only thing that would qualify as relatively Mediterranean was the Humous and the Babaganoush, even those used to taste much better at the older place. My advice to my fellow foodies is not to spoil the nostalgic memories of the Old Nabins by going to the new one.

I don't know why this place exists! Their food isn't good, their beer isn't chilled, they don't know their drinks, they area is too tiny. Maybe because they have good bucket deals for beer... that's the only reason I can think of.

Shisha sucks I order shisha and they gave me some other flavour which i asked them to replace but the cocky shisha guy (guy with tattoos) replaced it with sime rubbish and after that i just checked out straight away. Highly unrecomended of shisha loverz...

The food is so-so... But the service receive very bad.... Upset as I brought my mum n the plaz gives her bad impression. When we feedback the food.. The waitress seems unhappy... Wif ur ambience so tip top... We xpect food to be the same standard... But no describe at all...pls do improve the quality food n esp ur service wen serving customer.

Just been to the worst restaurant i have ever been to in my life. This is not the first time i have been here, i always used to patronize this place but the quality of everything have dropped from a rating of 3-1.
We came in and had to show our ic which was bit weird because its not a club and there are kids here! We had to get a shisha which was 33 bucks! Firstly, we ordered mango but there was no flavour at all, they placed two measly charcoal pieces on there which burnt out pretty quickly and nobody came to change it even though we flagged for the waiter multiple times. My friend ordered a mojito and was served lime cordial with too much water, she had to change it eventually to a chardonnay, a warm one, i might add. The service is really poor. There was this woman who was the floor manager or the boss, not too sure. Upon paying the bill, which took 10 mins after they had to verify the change of drinks (where is the communication??), we informed the woman and instead of speaking to me, she told the waiter,'you heard the feedback?', turned and left? What? The waiter said it doesnt affect him. I dont understand this at all.
The best part, a great rat was scurrying around the outdoor dining area. My whole experience was really bad.
There are many great places to eat in Arab street, skip this one.

Worst place ever to go to . Service standards so low . Took so long to get us mineral water . Complained about the sisha being not strong enough, she argued that we smoked it for too long , which in fact we only had the sisha for less then 10 minutes ? Definitely won't go there again .

Worse service ever.. the servings are pathetically slow.. we asked for iced water and they came with bottled waters and when we asked them to return, they refused. None of the bottles are even opened! What logic is this? Firstly they didnt clarify that they only serve bottled water, secondly when we ask to return immediately, they refused. The first and last time we are ever going there!

Definitely not something I had expected! Samosas and fried chickens that are instant! A waitress who was rude, asked for an extra spoon, she told me to just use whatever spoon available in the basket given. I am appalled by her rudeness. I just feel that they don't deserve the service charge for the bad service they provided!

At the entrance there was a bell said to press for assistance , and yet when i pressed the bell no on even came and attend to us , the waiter just saw us and still walked pass us , services is just average , our seats was changed by the stuff due to rainy weather which was understandable , but due to the changes of seats , our appetitezer ( fries ) were not served to us even when we spend our 2 hours time there , and the shisha quality has dropped , definetely not a place i will find to spend my money and come back again .

Ambience was great and the food was okay. However the service was really bad. It was my friend's birthday so we got her A SLICE of cake from a bakery which she then ate it in Nabins not knowing that no outside food & drinks are allowed in the restaurant. One of the staff approached us and informed us and we acknowledged the information given eventho the cake was already finished. The lady boss was standing in a corner, forcing her staff to come back to our table to make sure we clean up the mess afterwards which is understandable too. However, she gestured with her head by twisting her neck back and forth with a scowl on her face and proceeds to patrol back and forth my table, eyeing on me and my friend's every action which made us really uncomfortable and needless to say totally uncalled for. She then took her phone out and snapped a picture of us without our consent. After we were done with the meal, we headed to the exit to pay our bill and she followed us all the way out of the restaurant even after we settled the bill. My friends and I then approached her to ask if she really did snap a picture of us and she claims that it's just for her own progress log and that she took pictures in every corner of the restaurant. I then pointed out to her and said that the gestures she made earlier regarding the slice of cake was really unnecessary and it affected everyone's mood. She then proceeds to say that it states clearly that no outside food and drinks are allowed on a small little sign by the entrance, hidden in between hundreds of photos. She then said "It's okay, next time do not bring outside food and drinks in." I was then agitated by the fact that she doesn't understand that I am angry at the gestures she made earlier, and as a lady boss, (how unprofessional) and said "Don't worry there won't be a next time." and she said "Rude and arrogant."
There's more to the story but my point is that I paid money to relax, chill & celebrate my friend's birthday after a long day at work and this is the kind of service I get?
Unprofessional & bad service is all I can say.
