Hock Gooi Hainanese Curry Rice - Singapore - Photo album

Cheap but not so good taste wise. Couldn't decide between pork cutlet or braised pork so ended up ordered both, but both were over chewy & lacking tenderness which is a shame as both meats were well fried and braised with the right thickness. The sunny side up was so 'well done' that it tasted just
Affordable curry rice. I like the pork chop/cutlet. However, the curry isn't as potent as the one at Jalan Besar, but you have the choice to add more sambal chili.
Had the hainanese pork chop set, very affordable and add on taukee. Will recommend if queue isn't too long, the pork chop looks underwhelming but taste amazing. Taukee was ok, the cabbage was a bit under for my liking. Overalls decent meal. But they serve really slow for curry rice lol.
Delicious curry rice! Curry is mild and very easy to eat! Cabbages are deliciously soft and yet not mushy! The braised pork is very soft and flavourful! Awesome meal for the price!!! Stall gets incredibly crowded during office lunch hours!
Reasonably priced and pork chop was well fried and not too thin. Cost Nice to have a good range of vegetables that you can add, making it a balanced meal.
Seriously, a plate of goodness with pork chop, egg, cabbages and soaked with curry, for $3 only?! The pork chop was super tasty, crispy outside, tender inside. The rest is history... Honestly, it doesn't get better than this!
Yummy Curry rice with Crispy Pork Chop and Tasty Braised Pork! For $3 a set, it is a value packed meal for lunch! Support Local! Go and try it!
Jul 2019. A cool-ie rice never came so cheap. I loved this stall because it was easy to order with set menu on display, and u could just top up the sides. Recognized the same stall faces when it was originally located at Golden Shoe fc. The portion was huge and i had always had to tell them to cut d
