$11.50 for two plates (each with 4-5 ingredients), very worth the price! Pretty generous with the servings. Sadly the food was cold after a long day. The eggplant, lady fingers, egg and fried chicken wing were all very good! Friendly and easygoing staff

Depending how you look at this place.
Many would give a 5 star... As it is the only nasi leak around...
And when you are drunk.. everything with curry.. also is good.
But think it like.. in the afternoon, you won't want to travel all the way from home.. just to buy 1 pack.
This is more like mix vegetable stall....
Then nasi lemak.
Decent food...
But compare to what they had provided previously...

Enjoyed the food! Good portion with friendly server. Went around 3pm so it was empty. Had set B. Crispy chicken and sweet-and-spicy sambar were delicious.

Roll back two decades, after a night of clubbing, there are quite a few go-to spots for supper. But if you're after Nasi Lemak, the usual if Punggol Nasi Lemak off Kovan but if your clubbing spot was in town and you live in town, kinda taking a big risk for roadblocks to go so far away and come back to town. So sometimes a make do for second best is this stall right in town. I still vividly remember those 3am table full of joint eats to wake up from the drinks. Now today, while clubbing is non existent, I came back to try the Nasi Lemak for old times' sake. Peak lunch hour at 12pm, there was no queue and the eatery only sparsely occupied. Not quite a good sign. The spread on offer was more like a mixed vege rice or cai png offering rather than Nasi Lemak's. Ordering and service were prompt, courteous, just point and topped on the rice. I asked for basic classic Nasi Lemak sides such as fried seler kuning, a fried chicken wing, fried anchovies, usually a fried egg but their Western breakfast style fried egg doest fit Nasi Lemak thus I opt to add the Sayur Lodeh or curry vegetables. Extra sambal please. First thing first the Nasi Lemak rice while nicely cooked and fluffy, lacks a strong fragrance, and only elude a very light coconut flavour, on top of that there's a sour afternote. Bad coconut milk? Not very sure about that but I definitely didn't like the coconut rice very much. The chicken wing were tiny and bland, nothing crispy about it, same with the two kuning fishes. Fried anchovies were limp and chewy, curry vegetables bland. Sambal tasted factory-made salty and sweet, nothing like a great Nasi Lemak sambal. From Google I can see they have expanded to three stores now. Probably gone the way of expansionism and central kitchen like those syndicated big brands such as Crave Adam Road Nasi Lemak and Punggol Nasi Lemak popping up everywhere like 7-elevens. The old flavours are all gone. This is the sad future of our hawker scene.

YES, very good. Wow, for that price you get so much, you just barely can finish it. Best Nasi Lemak I ever had!

Excellent quality at relatively affordable price! The coconut rice and Sambal is so tasty that it tends to give food coma afterwards 🙂
