The place is always crowded, so thought the food was good. Ordered kaisen don for $16. Comes with miso soup and a mini chawanmushi. It was ok only. The place is non-air conditioned. So can get quite hot. And the traffic is heavy - human and cars. So people walking past will look at you and your food
Just average. There's free tea and pickles (read: self service) and the food are alright. I didn't like the seats that are weirdly placed along the corridor. And for the price you are paying for, you can get other Japanese restaurants around the Amoy / Boon Tat area with more comfort. The only plus
Best value for money for a Japanese lunch in the world! I go there at least once in a week.

Hands down the saddest chirashi bowl I've had. The rice was just soggy and clumpy. The accompanying chawanmushi in the set had only a handful of mushrooms. Not ever coming back.
Excellent food! A little pricey considering its streetside and there isn't any air-conditioning. Little warm at lunch time.
The fish was fresh and tasty. The price were super reasonable!
Not expensive, tax included.
(Translated by Google) I want to eat this seafood bowl for lunch. Insanely looks good cospa.
