Food was a bit of a hit or miss. The fish and chips was huge and the garlic pork was nice but the fried calamari had an unpleasant oil taste…
Also the dips for the tortilla chips were probably one of the worst I’ve had. The avocado dip is just an avocado paste? Same for the salsa. Just skip this one.
Beer was alright though it’d be better if they chilled the glasses before serving.
As for the service, the servers just looked at us and did not direct us to a table when we entered so we were left standing and confused for awhile lol. Very strange experience.
OH their tomato soup was good do order that if you’re there.

Fun bar for drinks after work. They have a good happy hour with nice deals on beer. Food was fresh and tasty, and service was nice. Definitely check out the specials as they change nightly.

Very good service, good atmosphere in the bar generally. It was not too loud so you can easily have a comfortable conversation with your dining partner. Only thing was that they were empty for quite a number of their alcohols on the menu, but it is pandemic after all.

I'm disappointed by the food. The tortilla chips were mediocre, but the dips were a huge let down. The guacamole was flat and tasteless, and the salsa tasted old. Maybe it's right after the second lockdown and their food stock were kept for too long, but NTUC has better guacamole and salsa.
Mushroom soup with truffle oil was OK, but the truffle oil added nothing to the flavour of the soup. Still, it's decent.
The glazed BBQ pork ribs were cooked long enough and soft, the sauce seems to be regular store bought rub. The mashed potato was tasteless, just with the texture of regular mashed potato.
Huge selection of alcohol though, so if you're looking for that you're in luck. Just, not the food. Food did come out quite quickly, which is a good point in their favour. In the end, the taste of the food is a let down and I'm probably never coming back.

Food: Tried the fish & chips, portion is quite big and tastes great.
Drinks: They have quite a variety of drinks. Tried out their house pour wine and cocktails. Pretty good.
They do offer pretty affordable promotions on the weekdays. Can give those a try.

Gotta hand it to the staff for exceptional service! Even though we used Burpple, we were treated like regular customers, and were also given the happy hour deal :) food is decent and of quality for the pricing, and had great beer on tap. Will recommend!

Just finished my food from Coq & Balls and thought i would share my 2 cents worth of thoughts with you guys.
Ordered thru honestbee and wanted a premium ribeye medium rare. However it is done well done and i am not sure if it was cooked during the time when the motorist was travelling here or delivery order just cannot take medium rare orders.
I still have the photos with me so if you would like to take a look, i would gladly share it just PM me for details.
Despite that, food was still pretty good so kudos to the chef and the team :)

Not good for happy hour offers! Went there for their happy hour drinks which was a pint for the price of a half pint. Ended up getting a shock on the bill because half a pint was $13 and the full was $15, not exactly two pints for the price for one. Mmm, not much of a deal ya. Marketing gimmick lol.

Saturday night: football showing and all is calm.
That's how it anyway seems for the bar girl who seems as far away from service as possible. It was a hassle to ask for utensils....big hassle. Currently afraid to ask for anything else incase I upset her. Food was fine. Service....you get the point:(

We were there last Sunday. I ordered a Diet Coke and it came out flat and I thought it was from the dispenser. When I re-ordered, I asked the staff for a canned one, it came out flat too. The staff doesnt believe us and open another can in front of us. We just want to feedback and not asking for another glass. GO try a can yourself.
Food: GREAT. We had fish n chips and some wings. Fries is a must-try
