Love their service very much - After customers make their order besides, receiving our receipt order number we were given a “Waiting Number” and get seated and once our order is ready they will be send / delivered to our table so less queue and crowd near the ordering and receiving sections - I salute most that All The Staff With smile on their faces and also attended all the customers with manners and courteous - Bravo!!! Hi Mcdonald management, i was having lunch last friday afternoon at your Mcdonald Bedok Reservoir branch. Seen a very heartening and honest act from one of your staff. When having lunch, i saw one of the student that is walking to the counter buying food. While the student is walking, he dropped some cash on the floor, i pretty sure i am the first few to notice that. Given the place, he dropped the cash, anyone can take the money and be quiet. One of your staff, a middle age chinese man, walked toward the cash pick it up, walk towards the student and return the money to the student. i can see from the expression of the student that he dont even realise he dropped the money. Before i leave, i tried walking past the mcdonald staff, wanting to know his name.. i think his name is Mr Sau Fei (something like that). Certainly a worthy staff that you have there.. Keep it up.. Best Regards, Gary Tiew

Hi,McDonald's management,I would like to use this opportunity to compliment one of your staff. His name is steven. He uses his polite and sincere tone to talk to the customer. When I was buying a alarcate mcChicken burger,he ask me if I have any special order for the burger and ask for what sauce do I want. Even though I am a mcdonald worker too but I feel the sincerity of him serving customer. Good Job BDR Manager for gaining a hardworking & politeful staff! Great!

Our go-to comfort food especially on a cold & rainy night ... tender pork ribs in a bowl of hot, savory, peppery, garlicky broth really hits the spot. Must go with their crispy you tiao. Love their braised pork trotters and salted vegetables, too. 😋😋😋

This is one of the several Bak Kut Teh place in the area (Balestier and Rangoon Road). Tried it for the first time, and was debating between this and Loy Kee chicken rice place across the street. Ordered the Founder Bak Kut Teh, lettuce stir fry, braised peanut and salted vegetable. They gave use second bowl of soup from the get go, and the ribs were good and soft. The salted vegetable was nice, not too sour. The braised peanut is nice and soft, large size, but it's a bit bland. The soup is good, less peppery compared to Song Fa. Overall is good. Song Fa soup is more peppery, comparable to Ng Ah Sio on Rangoon Rd.

Bak Kut Teh (SGD $18) @ Founder Bak Kut Teh. . On the spectrum of BKT, you have the potent peppery broth on one end, and the robust herbal broth on the other. . Since 1978, the version here is unique for occupying the middle, blending both savoury peppery and herbal sweet flavours, an enticing medley. . The premium pork ribs are large and meaty, with tender pork that comes off the bone easily, having a savoury herbal sweet flavour from the broth. . The pickled salted mustard greens have a medium vegetal salty sweet flavour with a soft crunch, while the braised egg has a bold soy sauce gravy that is best paired with white rice.

Fast service, their price is ~20% higher than other places but it's reasonable cuz they use only fresh pork to cook. I know this because my hubby is a food supplier. The ribs are addictive.

One of my favourite places to have traditional bak ku teh! Prices are slightly more expensive if compared to other BKT stalls. But still worth the taste and quality of it. They have quite a handful of outlets around Singapore now. Previously, they only have their one and only, flagship Balestier outlet. Meat is tender. Soup is peppery flavourful. Services are decent.

One of the best peppery bak kut teh I had, though the price is not cheap. The pork ribs were tender and the pepper soup was flavourful. The pork kidney was made to almost perfect during my first visit, but overcooked during my 2nd visit. The tau pok and salty vegetable were quite nicely done also. You will get to see many celebrity's photo on the wall.

The first thing I have noticed upon entering the shop is that all possible space on the wall is filled with photos of Asian celebrates that have visited before, and it quickly made me wonder have I walked into another tourist trap? Or a shop that is living off from it past glorious days? (since most of the photos are at least 10 year old) Oh man, I am so glad that my stereotyping was wrong again. I had one of the best bowl of Bak Kut Teh (pork rib tea) in my life. The soup was very fragrant with the right balance of heat from the pepper, and the porks ribs were so juicy and tender, yet not over stewed that it will fall off the bone so one could still have the satisfying bite and tear the meats off it. Liver soup was served with a tiny traces of blood, at first I was sceptical but again, the shop has proven that they know what they are doing. Liver was cooked perfectly and there was no gamy taste at all! I could have down the whole bowl if it wasn’t for my health issue. You won’t regret coming and you might spot a celebrity or two, who knows.
