No need any intro. Famous fish soup n braised duck. Look how fine they cut the chilly, you will know they are meticulous in their cooking. Reminds me of my nyonya mum meticulous cooking. As this is a hawker stall I will only rate the place by the standard of the foods. For fish soup it's one of the best, fish is fresh, generous serving, well blend with fresh vegetables, preserve vegetable, and it's seriously siok! The braised duck is very good too. It was cut in pieces and braised
Tried this for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the duck porridge, not the typical porridge but rice mixed with soup, braised duck and sauce. Fish soup is also very good, it has Sichuan veg in it.
The fish and duck here needs no further introduction. Really good comfort food in generous portions. Good value. Delicious. Totally satisfying.
Fish soup is excellent with taste that is neither too salty nor too sweet. Friendly owner and reasonable price.
Tried Mackerel Fish Soup and the Braised Duck Meat. To be honest, the taste is not like anything out of the world. But don't get me wrong. It is delicious and definitely very comfortable. It has the taste of home cooking. That never gets tired of if taste.
Enjoyed the mackerel soup ($8) - fresh fish slices and the soup had depth. Could do with less pepper in the soup though. Can do without the braised duck meat ($5), which was bony and unremarkable.
Wonderful meal of "tarkpan" fish soup & chopped meaty braised duck with rice for lunch. Average per pax only $8
