Review Knuckles Bistro - Singapore

Came here with the boys for a good catch up. The beers and fries were fantastic and worth ($25 for 5 beers), which we started off with since the knuckles were not ready yet. We then ordered pork schnitzel, bangers and mash and full pork knuckle to share. The pork schnitzel, bangers and mash and spaghetti were amazing, and the truffle soup was fantastic as well. The only downside is that the pork knuckle was dry and tough, and the skin chewy rather than crispy. Feels like the flagship item should be a little more impressive than the meat patties and sausages. It was the only dampener in an otherwise fantastic meal. Hope it will be better next time!

Came here because of good reviews, but the food is really bad, most especially the knuckle… everything is dry and sweet (I don’t even know why is it sweet?) Looking at the bright side, the truffle mushroom soup and garlic bread is restaurant standards.. while the waiters are nice. Good experience, however will never come back

Decent place to have pork knuckle and beer. The person who served us (I think was the boss) was pretty unmotivated to serve us. We asked for Mustard and was served with mayo. We asked kindly that the sauce was wrong, he insisted that he gave us mustard(what a joke). Honestly, avoid their salad at all cost. it's not worth it and have an unpleasant taste of their sauce. Overall, it's a budget place to have pork knuckle and western food. If you feel like saving money and around Kovan, can try here.

The food here is not bad, but nothing to shout about, really. Truffle fries had only very slight truffle taste, popcorn chicken was just your standard average supermarket popcorn chicken, aglio olio was not too bad, and the best was the whole pork knuckle! The skin was crackling and if you like 烧肉 (sio bak), you'll probably like this. The iced lemon tea is really good though! You can taste the effort put into making it from one mouth. The main star here is the service. The uncle working here is hospitable, friendly, funny, and engaging with customers. He makes the effort to try to make small talks with customers who'd want to. He also wasn't fazed by the crowd when the restaurant was filled. In the back, there was only ONE cook. So all in all, only 2 people were mending this stall on an extremely busy evening. Definitely impressive! The crowd was also willing to wait up to 20 mins for a table, which tells a lot. Overall, I'll be back for sure.

A gem located in the heartlands. It sells amazing pork knuckles for just $10 nett. We got the platter for 3 at $33 and it was extremely filling. The quality of the pork kunckle was amazing as well! Definitely worth a visit. The store is slightly small though! So do be prepared to come early / wait a while!

What a gem, price is reasonable to the quality of the food. $10 for a reasonable portion of pork knuckle with mash and sour kraut. $15 for a Sunday roast beef special. Plus, the service and ambience is good, what more can one ask for? If you like beer, you can try the Benediktiner dark, which I preferred even though white/light one is recommended.

1. ordered Chicken chop with spaghetti. Every mouth tasted like I am eating garlic. Not to my liking.. 2. chicken chop is with herbs. (Not to my liking) 3. brown source is very salty. 4. Coleslaw has foreign object by looking at the colour.. Taste is up to individual. This is the only reason I gave 2 stars due to the foreign obj. (Point number 4)

Good value for pork knuckles and spaghetti. Dishes is about 10 to 13 dollars per plate. And its quite a fun place to hang out. Chang beers by the bottle is $5. Having said that i was expecting the pork knuckles to be better. The $10 platter i ordered had a serving of pork knuckles, scoop of mash potatoes and a table spoon of kraut. The pork was slightly porky tasting and it was on the dry side. The gravy was weak and thin. There wasnt enough kraut and it was bland. It needed a more sourish kick. I have tasted much better elsewhere, but mind you it also costed a lot more.
