Wei Yi Laksa & Prawn Noodle - Singapore - Photo album

The seats were well spaced, and it wasn't overcrowded. Few nice, popular stalls but for breakfast, there were limited stalls open only
Friend brought me here so to see and try the meal before this place is going to be tear down. Very local environment, style and this SG small comfort food will soon be lost.
Very nice malay stall. fast sold out early in the morning. Quiet plc surrounded by greenery.
This morning I was craving for my all time favourite Min Chiang Kueh (Peanut Pancakes) but it was closed. Decided to try this recently opened Fried Carrot (raddish) Cake. Despite it not using pork lard, it was tasty. They made the “carrot cake” themselves, and the texture was nice. Generous serving
A smallish Hawker center in Tanglin Halt with the famous Wei Yi Laksa and Prawn Noodle as it’s star attraction. Opens early at 530am and super packed on weekends.
Found the cgeapest chinese roast duck rice in town. $3 come with free soup. Oh I actually will not mind to pay extra $ for the nice soup. It make me feel great for the day.
One of the famous food here was Laksa unfortunately I didn't get to try (will definitely come again), this market will be vanished soon by end Dec 2021 according to government redevelopment plan, seize opportunity to make a trip here!
Was there to take my lunch at the hawker centre adjacent to the wet market. They do have a variety of selection. The architectural design is very unique. The older hawker centre is run down and deserted. Not sure how long more before it will be demolished.
