Great variety of food, from dim sum to Zi char. Many choices! Famous for their curry fish and kampong chicken. Food is tasty and suitable for those who likes strong taste 重口味. Prices are pretty reasonable. Only down side is the location, very hard to find parking as it is near housing estate. Not much parking lot nearby.

Been here before for lunch and today came here for dinner. Thanks to Thomson East Coast line. Tried the Signature Bucket Kampung chicken, the sauce made with grate ginger and home made sauce. One of the kind which seldom found here. Chicken is tender and juicy. Doneness is just nice. Kids and wife love the XO sauce carrot cake, crispy outside and soft inside Ordered the char siew and barbecue pork too. The egg York lava bun is superb The prawn and char siew rice roll are worth trying as well. Can’t get enough of the taste bud, take away some dim sum too.

The worst coffee shop service i had came across although a young man came to clean our table. I was looking around for table and staff was not helpful though not busy. Lady Cashier staff surely needs to put on a smile or attend customer service course rather than putting up a sour face. For the price of $5 yong tau foo (smallest portion) is just ridiculous... (photo attached) Only remedy are the dim sum which I find them so so. I will definitely NOT BE VISITING.

Located at the corner, the restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. This is the kind of place where you can come dressed comfortably to eat and I mean t-shirt and shorts. They have an impressive huge wide range of food and dishes to choose from, including dim sum. We order their signature bucket kampong chicken and crispy fried beef noodles. The food took approx 15 mins to arrive. On first sight, I was a little taken back by the amount of garlic that was covering the chicken. However, don’t be deceived. As the garlic and salt was a perfect combination to the chicken. The garlic taste wasn’t hardly noticeable because it was done just right, and it was flavorful. The chicken was juicy soft and tender. Do take note that there will be a lot Chicken bones. The noodles were crispy and the beef was tender. I would recommend to try if you love crispy snacks like me. We only ordered the small to share as we ordered half chicken. We devoured the dishes in record time and yes, we would recommend this place to family and friends.

really enjoyed the food here at wong chiew, very generous portions and yummy wok hey! star dish was definitely the XO fried carrot cake. hands down one of the best i've eaten.

They open by 6am morning, we reached 650am and still not fill up by people yet. But 715am the crowd started. Alots bikers stop here yamcha blow water, then continue their journey. This shop have varieties of choices, dim sum, noodle, porridge etc. we order some dim sum, taste ok but it shd be factory make. Teh C is nice 👍 A chickens family will surround ur table to look for food, they not scare of people 🤣 Will come here again to try other food ☺️

Went there for dinner few times. Up to 4 stars from 3. Hor fun was good. Decent food for late night supper. Parking is abit challenging as there isn’t any parking lots nearby.

I always been troubled of where to eat for supper until my friend recommend this restaurant to me. After my first tried on the patai and lai lai plus the friendly staff....it leave an unforgettable memories for me. After that I always come here at least once a week for supper. Thumbs up for them. �

Yesterday went to have dinner and realised that the staff has switch off the aircon. As we are there to eat, I turn on the aircon and went back to sit. That's where a new staff came by and rudely told me I'm not allow to touch the remote control. I told him I'm here to dine, not to come here to blow aircon without dining. The waiter and the kitchen chef do not follow up after order. My wife and I ordered porridge only ingredients different. My food came first almost finish, I asked the waiter what happened to my wife porridge;that where the food came not hot. In the past years, we're respected. NOW, we will source elsewhere! Their service level drop.

Very rude male service staff who spoke in Cantonese. Overpriced at $21 for a mediocre plate of mixed shao la consisting roast duck, cha siew and roast pork with rice for 2 person.

This restaurant has been there for 17 years? I started to eat there since my 20s with my motorcycle group friends. My late mother also liked the food there. Especially the Tim Sum, Zi Cha and noodles. The bucket chicken caught my family's attention. We loved it. Today is my mum anniversary so I decided to bring my family to Wong Chiew for lunch. Bucket chicken again. It brings back old memories where me and mum was having lunch overthere. The food still tastes the same and good. Thanks to the uncle that took our orders just now and to the lady cashier as well.

Being careless Ytday . Had a quick lunch before rushing back to office, I had left my wallet at the eating house. While concentrating on clearing my work, I received a call at about 7pm (initially thought its a scam call cos they called my Chinese name �) only then I realized my wallet was missing for the past few hours. The staff from the eating house told me they were waiting for me to go back since afternoon. As I did not return, they decided to open my wallet and my gods grace, they found my one and only name card. Besides drowning him with thanks...i didn't know what else to say and rushed down. After collecting my wallet and ensuring all items are inside, I asked for his name n wanted to give him a small token, but he n his colleagues refused to accept n said they know all e IC, CC, etc are very important n troublesome if I have lost it. Heart felt thanks to these Angels... Without u guys (ah Di n his colleagues) I won't be able to sleep well last night. As promised, I will definitely go back to your shop n eat again. #sorry didn't manage to get a wefie with u because I'm to shy to ask for it. But I will definitely remember you. The next round when I drop by... Considered for the past 1 hour, but still decide to post. Went to Wong Chiew Eating House at Sembawang Road for dinner just now. Ordered the following: 1) Duck Rice add rice 2) Duck Noodle 3) 1 Xiao Long Bao 4) 1 Prawn Zhu Chang Fen 5) 1 Ice Lemon Tea The order came, but with an extra tofu skin, which I did not order, so I told the server that I did not order and this is what he said to me :" If you did not order, then why is it in the order slip? And now its already cooked, how?" I told him that I do not eat tofu skin and we did not order this item. I called the waitress who took my order and asked her. She got no choice, but took it back. Here come the other orders: 1) Duck Rice add rice - I did not order drumstick, but drumstick was served. Charged me at S$5.50 for that. 2) Duck Noodle - The duck was not properly cooked, there was still red blood on the meat. 3) 1 Xiao Long Bao - Still ok, but not hot enough. 4) 1 Prawn Zhu Chang Fen - Taste not bad. BUT found a flying ant dead and wraped together with one of the Zhu Chang Fen, and also the prawn taste a bit sour and also the temperature is in between room temperature and warm. Not hot. 5) 1 Ice Lemon Tea - Quite standard, just that 3/4 are ice in the cup. I asked the other waitress to come and see the "extra ingredient", she quickly took it away and changed a new one for me, without apologizing. When billing, the Tofu skin was billed together. It was when the waitress who took the order came, then they refund me back $3. Overall, the experience is not a good one. Although food not bad, but adding to all these, I think I will never patron them again, unless things changed. Hope NEA can look into their hygiene matters. Yes I went to food hygiene course before, and found their practise not up to standard but managed to get a "B". Anyway, this is just my experience with them, do eat at your own risk. I am writing this, not to complain, but to let you guys know as I am having diarrhoea already.
