One of the few branches. The HV location is a bit more like a drinking joint where by the Japanese dishes on offer are quite standard and seem to be more catered to izakaya style. Sake n sochu (including beer) on offer is plentyful and good value while the food quality is decent but not overwhelming
Kotobuki is a pretty upscale Japanese eatery. The sashimi was fresh and would definitely recommend it. It could be pricey for some . I would suggest using eatigo to book your reservation as it gives up to 50% discount for certain time slot. Personally, i patronize the restaurant at the 50% discount
kotobuki portion is massive. enough to feed 2. however there are some bones in the salmon, too bad.
ramen was not okay. soup was so-so. noodles tasted like chinese alkaline yellow noodles. tasted nothing like japanese ramen.
A quiet authentic Japanese restaurant. Had sake with small dishes. Few tables. Happy hour daily. Quite a good deal. Good food.
Excellent authentic Japanese Food. The Udon had perfect springy texture, broth had the right sweetness, tempura fried perfectly, sashimi don perfectly executed. Also serving rather unique mega-don.
The beef curry based, pork Tonkatsu was well done and delicious enough. But the Agedashi tofu? It looked and tasted no more than a piece of supermarket brick tofu with some bonito flakes, spring onions and sauce thrown in. You can even see the serrated edges on the tofu brick. That was very disappo
I think the sushi is ok. Ramen isn't as good as it looks as the soup has little flavor.
Excellent Japanese restaurant serving good selection of food. my fav is the aburi sake bokumori. The udon is also pretty good. While seems a bit out of place the teriyaki steak is a must, with the tender steak grilled to perfection and added with a delightful sauce.
