A hidden gem in Singapore, many people don't know (or don't go to) this place because it's remote, however, your effort to go there will be paid of. Half a dozen of art galleries showcasing Singaporean and International modern artists, in a super quite and relaxing environment. The story of these barracks is also interesting and worth the free tour to better understand the place. Galleries are free to visit and people working there are generally nice and welcoming. While visiting you can have a break in one of the cafes and restaurant to enjoy a drink or a meal in an exceptional environment.

My favourite exhibit would be the one on realistic paintings of candies! There were other interesting exhibits too, but would have been better if they were accompanied by short write-ups or descriptions.

A great reuse project dedicated to arts and fresh perspective. The location near the parks allow a walk in nature to contemplate the various art works. I enjoy the history and reuse of the architecture, it does limit the quality of the interior studio spaces, but the combination of new art and older structures ensures something new to see at every turn.
