The claypot rice was cooked using charcoal so it had a wonderful smokey fragance and taste. The chicken were well marinated. There were lup cheong and salted fish too. A portion for two costs $15, which is reasonably priced. Staff were polite and hygenic and accepted e-payment.
Enjoyed the claypot rice and watercress pork ribs soup. The rice, chicken, chinese sausage, and salted fish were tasty and the chicken pieces were meaty enough. The soup had good flavour and the pork ribs were meaty.
Definitely one of the top claypot rice stalls in Singapore. Portions are generous, and the quality of individual ingredients are outstanding - yet combining to bring it to the next level. Just tried the new outlet at Bukit Batok. Didn’t have to wait too long as the shop is still relatively new in the neighborhood. But wow, the wok hei taste of the rice blew me away. Best claypot rice in the neighborhood for me now.

Taste and quantity dropped quite a notch. Hope it’s temporary. The chicken is dry and bland, maybe due to the shortage pf fresh chicken, but the quantity should be retained, isn’t frozen cheaper?
The rice and chicken is nicely cooked. The rice texture is finer than the one at Alexandra Food Court (Tai Liok). Portion is considered small and less Chinese sausage. But overall, better than Tai Liok.
