Ordered 1 plate of chicken briyani ($7), 1 kueh boyan ($2) and vadai (3 pcs for $2) that were on display due to the fasting month.
The chicken briyani tasted ok, but the chicken was very bony ie not much flesh was on it. The briyani rice portion was small, not enough for my husband (and he doesn't eat a lot).
The kueh boyan had little filling and no beansprouts which eased disappointing cos that would have elevated the taste of it. The cili provided for the kueh boyan was the wrong type too so I was double disappointed as I was really looking forward to eating one of my fav kuehs.
The vadai (2 dough and 1 lentil vadai) was so so only cos the lentil vadai was so hard (they didn't bother to soak the lentils before making the vadai.
We ordered teh halia kurang manis which just means less sweet but got normal teh halia instead. I think their standard has dropped tremendously.
With the kind of prices they are charging, it's really not worth having a meal there. Not eating there again.

First time try Briyani Arab. My friend highly recommended it and arranged to meet on Friday to makan.
We arrived at 11am, it's not ready till another 40 mins time. While waiting we drank tea and chit chat.
12pm and still no sight of Briyani Arab. 12.08pm, one huge pot was being carried by 2 men. My friend went to place order.
First mouth of the Briyani Arab with mutton, was expecting the fragrance of Nasi Briyani, but I was wrong. Didn't taste much and it's like the wordle answer 2 days ago, BLAND.
Mix with mutton curry don't enhance the taste too, mutton was chewly. Frankly, not to my liking. Nonetheless, I still manged to finish the food.
Sorry, not my type of food. At least I tried.

A rendezvous for teh tarik and Thai Muslim seafood. Enjoyed the variety of fried rice.
Hv tried the nasi goreng ayam kunyit.I requested for less spicy n opted for plain fried rice.

Ordered Nasi Goreng Ikan Bilis but got Nasi Goreng Chao Ta instead. Looks burnt and had a couple of spoon and it taste just like how it looks, burnt. Probably use leftover oil and never wash the wok. First time in my life eating Chao Ta fried rice. The only nice thing here is probably the teh tarik.

Such a pathetic price and portion! Ordered mutton and chicken coin prata but it turned the size of the coin prata is so small and the curry doesnt even have any chicken or mutton!
Not recommended to visit this place! Waste of time!

Average taste food, this establishment offers a range of Malay and Indian food at pretty reasonable prices.
Portions are huge hence it’s worth the money. Hence please do not over order. However in my opinion the food is just average.
It can get pretty packed in the evenings with long waiting time.
Given the above, I’d just rate this place a 3 star.

Delicious dalcha with pratha egg onion & Teh-O. Pay roadside parking available.
We keep eating the same thing every Sunday for breakfast.
Did try their masala touseh abit spicy for me. Teh-O always sweet so you need to ask them less sugar.
New management now...after being served pay for your food.

One of the best arabic biriyani in SG... The arabic dum biriyani available only on Saturday and Sunday lunch is a gem.. the cream based biriyani masala is such a treat on tastebuds

The arab Biriyani, plain parata and beef fry aremy personal favorites. I wish the ambience could be improved and some original malabar dishes with authentic flavor could be added to the menu
