18 March 2022 - typing this as i sit in the restaurant. Came for dinner at 7.45pm.
Ordered 2 items - puri & byriana
Puri came 1 hour later and byriana came 45min after puri! This was me chasing for it!
There were about 10 customers in the restaurant only!
Not visiting here again! 😡

Went to the outlet at one-north with my family for the panipuri but it's not to our expectation. The filling is cold and the pani to dunk the puri in was bland. We had other items such as rawa thosai, bhatura and ootappam. They're quite alright but u can get nicer and cheaper option at little India. The buttermilk and lassi are really good.

I order the food from this restaurant and the food was pathetic . The palak paneer was stale and had a sour kind of taste to it . Paneer pieces were too small and no taste at all . Rest of the dishes also not too gud .

Visited yesterday, after a long time, with wife and daughter for lunch.Still good value for money, chole bature and North Indian combo meals were tasty and sumptuous, prices reasonable. Outdoor seating available. South Indian dishes not available, as chef's away.

Had their Rava Thosai, Kashmiri Naan, Aloo Gobi and a tomato-based paneer (forgot the name). Food came warm, fresh and was delicious. Rava thosai was just okay. First time having the Kashmiri Naan - would recommend to consider this as a dessert item. A bit pricey, but made more worth it with Burpple 1-1 mains (limited selection).
Food took about 15mins to arrive, went on a Friday night. Would not recommend the Chai (quite subtle taste, more milky), but otherwise other items were good.
FYI i think their air conditioning is not working

Ridiculously overpriced and bad service.
Dosa came cold and had to send it back to the kitchen for a fresh one.
Ordered a coffee and tea and told them to serve it only after our meal. Which they asked again halfway and repeated to serve after but the drinks came out anyway. Not to mention both drinks costed us $11.80 for small cups?!
A can of regular coke also costed us $4.90 which never in my life have I seen such pricing even in many 5 star establishments.
Nothing great about the food or service to be paying such prices. Never returning again.

I agree with another user here. The service level at Raj restaurant is downright horrible. Last week, I went all the way to Raj restaurant at Biopolis to have dinner. However, when I tried ordering dosas the waiter curtly mentioned that they don't make south indian dishes, only north.
If that was the case, why their menu still displayed south Indian dishes? Its clear that no one bothered to update the menu. I had to order their batura set, which tasted mediocre.
As for their north indian items, considering that this is a veg restaurant, I must say that their pricing is very much on the high side. A simple paneer dish costs $15 and above. In the past, Raj restaurant used to be a great place but the new management has ruined it all. I wont recommend Raj restaurant.

We went there for dinner on a sunday evening. Ambiance was dull, dark and sad. Food (only North Indian menu was available) by itself was barely average. Service was worse. Staff appeared untrained and inattentive. Evening marked by delayed order taking, wrong order being served and incorrect billing. Not going back there.
